A decent performance up to their goal and then it was pretty much clueless from there in . Far too much backward passing and over playing between players , sometimes the thing just needs playing up to the forwards and let them have a go at their backline . A perfect example in the 4th minute of injury time Baptiste gets a free kick near the halfway line , instead of playing it in to the mixer , he plays it to Santos who plays it to Delaney who plays a cross field pass straight out of play , I mean WTF is that about. I'm beginning to wonder if Sarcevic needs playing further forward from the start and if that's at the expense of Crawford then so be it. Better to get players up to job in in January, ship the shite out and get ready to give it a good go next year. If by fluke we finished 7th and went up, we’d need 15 new players just to stay up. I’m not convinced we have genuine wing backs and I’m not convinced we have full backs either. We have players who can ‘fill in’ at both jobs. He signs 2 shit LWB no cover in midfield so once are best defensive midfielder gets injured we are fucked. We’ve nothing on bench to change it we’ve one formation, it’s too narrow and we don’t get overloads often enough because we’re not passing it quickly enough and to often square. We have to hang onto the coat tails of the playoffs, get shut of at least 3-4 players and bring some width in and another defensive centre mid & hopefully another striker.
