Football fans are bloody daft nowadays. No success after 4 months and people are calling for the managers head. Just find it totally bonkers. I was watching at the start of the season and I’m still watching now. If you think losing 1-0 at home to Crawley is a visible improvement then fine, that’s your opinion. Mine is we are losing games in a poor league and we have not been playing well enough for the majority of the season. Evatt needs to change the system and his tactical approach but he won’t, for that reason he won’t take us anywhere in the future, so why wait on sacking him. Super Bock
Well hopefully that removes any lingering doubt about the current squad getting it together. We need a very active transfer window and Evatt deserves a crack at it. Doyle really is a cut above the rest in this league and priority number one should be getting the ball to his feet in the box. It was a suggestion by Evatt that it would be a stepping stone for them, in which case the club's size and facilities are less relevant as they will be off soon after. Not sure its going to be that easy.

How much actual defending do they do? They are wide midfielders or wingers. So play attacking players in those positions (he does on the right but not the left?) instead of defenders. Plenty of hard work, some good play and some great chances. There's been plenty of days to have a pop at the side but today isn't one of them for me.  Surely you're not referring to the 95 minutes? Yes we played well enough once behind, but that would be to ignore the fact that we deserved to be behind, their goal was in no way against the run of play, and we were fortunate not to concede in the 1st half also, whilst never looking like scoring ourselves in the first hour, at home. I think you need to rewatch the game today when you've calmed down a bit. And I also reckon you should rematch some of the games from the beginning of the season. The current side would beat that side about 5-0.

Evatt did an interview and spoke about out of contract players wanting to get back to the championship. Obviously talking about Lee, but others will be around. You'd expect some of these to be decent for this level and it makes sense to go for them, but wage caps etc make other clubs equally attractive, especially if its temporary.

No I thought we were alright first half. 50/50 game. I said as much then if you scroll back. They had the better of it for about 10 minutes second half but following that we broke them down time after time after time.

SalCity Biggie
Just play a style that fits the strengths of the players, get out of the division however you can and then buy players that fit the style that you want to play.
