Members bolton_blondie
Anyone else enjoy being up at the crack of dawn on a weekend? Love the silence of just me and the dog awake so I sup my coffee in peace. BB 33 going on 70. Be shopping at M&S for comfy loafers and sensible blouses next. Burndens Bogs
Never understood people who rot in bed till after lunch, most of the day is wasted. I prefer to walk the dog early if possible, avoiding the hoardes of irritating “new walkers” that have sprung up since Covid started. Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted January 17, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted January 17, 2021 Unless I’ve been bladdered, I’m always up early. We get up at 5.30 week days so by 7 at weekend, I’ve had a decent lie in. Love it in summer having a brew outside, watching the birds nibbling on nuts

Not in Crawley
People in their early 30s pretending they're old.... I have to say its only now that I like early nights etc mainly because hangovers and late nights take so much longer to get over. I have to say I'm enjoying my 40s much more than my 30s! One of our bastard dogs has a habit of a gentle yap in the night if he hears an ant fart ten miles away. Wouldnt be so bad if he'd shut up after a couple, but its repetitive and doesn't stop until you've acknowledged it. A few night on the bounce and I'm sleeping later. Doesn't feel right, but needs must.

Though after 2 or 3 I've usually disturbed her enough for her to have a turn.

H
In my early teens never thought I'd see the 21st Century coz that would make me old. 20 years into it don't feel old although to the early teen me I must be ancient.
