I personally think the last thing we need is a gamble, and Clough will be just that, plus his injury record is a concern.

Would love the Zac Clough back that burst on to the scene, just gotta feeling that's the best he was.

Weve already got Tutte and Lee who are injury prone, carrying passengers at this moment in time is not what we need.

Aye, I understand that.

Thing is if we somehow got rid of Crawford and Clough turned out to be shit then we'd not be in a worse position than we are now.

Anyway, not gonna happen.

Fair point, nah it ain't gonna happen.

We still need an experienced solid midfielder, a Karl Henry type, preferably one who isn't injury prone.

The colonel said Henry was his shout you stole his line

Exactly. Crawford is a complete waste this season

Is he shite.

Who in their right mind would join a club where they have less than a months money left and no buyer in sight.
He might not get his first wage.

Hes coming to an arrangement with forest over a pay off

Might value getting near home and playing

Surely we should be in the market for him, he was decent in league one, he’s more experienced now, yes it might not work out but it’s a low risk signing and could yield a high return.

If we could get him Mounts I’d go and pick him up myself

I agree that it'd be a nice thought ... & certainly nicer than seeing him at Wigan, though he can't be THAT desperate, Shirley.

But it's 2 years since he played. How much more experience he's got I'm not so sure.

Only player I’d re sign

Oh, I dunno. I'd have Holding back.

Alonso isn't going to get back into Chelsea's team & Cahill must be close to over & out at Palace. Bring Craig Dawson with 'em & they could share a car ... & housing's cheaper.

THEN maybe that 3 centre half thingie might work.

Hehe I’ll rephrase. Only one who would potentially come back I’d take.
