Great move for the lad if it comes off. I don’t understand what happened at Forest but I’m sure it wasn’t all Zach fault. Good luck to him, I hope he does well. I would’ve loved him here again but not to be.

He was decent that first half season, then a new manager came in and he faded into the background

Wasn't the same last time with us

Probably a combination of lack of games and persistent injuries

Hope he gets back to it and comes good, just rather it wasn't with Wigan

Good luck to Zach , albeit with them shithouses. Never really seemed the same after the 2 shoulder injuries and his time at Forest has been a disaster footballing wise.

I spoke to him after a Forest u23 game last year , which was actually a County Cup match against Basford United . He lasted 60 minutes and was the only first team squad member playing , afterwards I had 10 minutes with him and to say he was fuming at his treatment would be an understatement.

I'll always look back on him has being a great talent and someone who i was buzzing to see on the Team Sheet.

Mate knows zachs dad well

Zach clough loved playing for bwfc and had no wish to leave even when things were tough

Without him agreeing to leave we may have gone under

Anyway

I remember there being a clamour for him to play and at the time the word from the manager was that he wasnt physically ready

Manager changed and Lennon had a different opinion and he seems to have been troubled by injuries for most of the time since

Agree with that, though I'd never heard of him before he started against Wigan.

I tell a lie, had seen him in a 'reserve' game at Liverpool; he'd played well but then I'd forgotten about him.
