Jay71
A lot of talk on Twitter the past 24 hours suggesting he should be given another chance. Personally think it could be a nice mix if he was to sit alongside Tutte with Sarcevic in a free role ahead of them both, especially whilst Lee is out injured. We’ve yet to see Tutte and Comley play alongside each other at all this season.

Because they'd be falling over each other. They both do the same job. We don't need 2 d/f's. If there's a sudden pile of tweets it's been orchestrated. Johnnyrotten
One of the worst midfielders I've ever seen play for us, and I've seen some bad 'uns. Can't believe he still gets a place on the bench ahead of certain others.
Traf
Comley is gash. I'd rather see Riley, Senior or Graham ahead of him.
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted January 26, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted January 26, 2021 I can't believe he's as bad as he's shown so far. I'd be happy to find out watching him play at another club though

Take Hunt Off
Might have been better to start with Comley & Tutte last Saturday rarther than play the lightweight left winger.Heavy pitch & as bad as he's been he doesn't mind a tackle .jsl. Surely he isn't as bad as what we've seen of him so far? Clutching big time I know. Oh & never been on Twatter.
LeggyMountbatten
When things are going to rat shit, it's always the guy who is out of the team that becomes our best player. Comley is crap. I would rather play Riley, Darcy or Graham if we are settling for mid table.
JimmyRiddle
I think two holding midfielders was what was needed when we were playing 3 5 2, shore us up a bit. Whether that Tutte and Comley is another debate
Blondi
I reckon Comley was a Toby signing, didn't he arrive with superb stats or something? Maybe passing😂 oh and he is shit!

I think he took Evatt's early "possession is everything" mantra too literally and played extremely oddly. He may still be thinking "but that's what you asked me to do". He came up from Essex, started poirly, was dropped & gets very, very little game time. No ability to acclimatise or socialise & presumably living in a hotel or digs, away from family or friends. Once you're in that spiral you're best off going back to that area tbh. Edited January 26, 2021 by Dr. Feelgood

superkev
Riley has suddenly turned into Riga. Had a decentish game in the EFL trophy. He get snapped in the rough and tumble of league

I think there's a feeling that when Comley comes on 15 mins from the end and contributes the square root of fuck all and has no influence on the outcome, then you might as well try something you haven't tried before. Could the lad do any worse? Thomason is still raw and far from finished but you can see the improvement in his game from getting minutes on the pitch
Underpants
Poor man's Liam Bridcutt. We don't know what he's been told to do. But he needs to be going forward with the ball and making decisive passes instead of all the sideways shite. But that could be said for all the team to be honest. We've got a soft underbelly. I think there's only Gilks I wouldn't fancy my chances with in a fight.
SalCity Biggie
He might be better in the new formation? I can't see him starting unless it's through injury or suspension though

tomski
He’d need his shirt putting on backwards for a start. Best for all of he continues his career elsewhere for me.
Duck Egg
He's just tore my Orient team a new one in FM2017. Perhaps that was Toby's scouting method?
