Site Supporter Cheese Posted February 9, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted February 9, 2021 Couldn't give a shit how boring that half was. I'll take that every week if it means we go into the dressing room 1-0 up.

Arrested development
Moving it too slow. I'm all for patience but we need a lot more urgency. The goal was good but we've not been great in possession. They have had chances and we need to be better with the ball.

Is anybody moaning Most are saying it’s not the best half but it’s not having a dig anyway let’s get bad boy Maddison on for a run
Mantra
Decent first half. Bit fortunate to be ahead considering we didn't really make many chance and not sure how much Delfouneso meant that assist but definitely been the better team overall. Looking better at keeping possession but they're not trying to press much. Keep it up and should be 3 points

A win is SO important to us at the mo to boost confidence. just more of the same for me n I’ll be happy.

Ani
The commentators get everything wrong good ball - goes out of play look comfortable - they get a cross in Best one of the season Delfonso should swap let Isgrove play the 10 role, Delfonso does not look like he can play that midfielders pass - ball to Doyle, goal
Max Cherry
ok need to be more direct but better than what i saw earlier in season. Really dont understand some on here. So much more to come from this lot when they click. And we are playing 7th in league they might have to open up a bit now.
hughmungus
Great half, full of innovation and skill and I can finally see how good Evatts coaching really is.

Fonz absolutely dreadful... and then he comes up with a belter of an assist. This co-commentator is worse than Henshaw too. Every time he's on he sounds like he's talking a good game, but he's clearly always watching a different Bolton side than I am. Steve Ayre innit, Fred’s son, think he’s just trying to be BWFC positive but going bit far in my opinion.

In normal times I’d be sat in the stands commenting on different things that I see with the people around me. It’s normal, it’s positive and criticism, it’s all part of watching football. At the moment I’m sat on my fucking couch with the Mrs watching Rick Stein on the tv, if I want to pass comment on certain bits with other fans then WW is the best way to do that. Saying that we looked too passive for the first 40 minutes doesn’t mean that I don’t think we then scored a good goal just before half time and it’s a good result to take into the break. It’s almost like you’re some kind of super fan if you don’t think there is anything to improve during the game. Agree completely. No urgency first 40 minutes. Williams is a "slow the play down" type and if most of the play is going through him, its going to be a slow game. That's IE's choice but I'd prefer the faster play and more forward thinking of Tutte. But a great goal, up there with our best of the season.
