Site Supporter only1swanny Posted February 8, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted February 8, 2021 Can tell you who to avoid! Loads doing half arsed job atm so I'd go local and find one with a good reputation and office that you can go to. I wouldn't wish what we had to go through on anyone! Site Supporter Winchester White Posted February 8, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted February 8, 2021 I have used Amity in the past but I was only selling back then. They were decent enough.

Ownership may have changed since then, it may have been Adamson's in 2018 I can't remember now.
Roger_Dubuis
Don't use Russell and Russell. Was paying cash for an empty property should have been 6 - 8 weeks max to get it completed. After 3 months of Russell and Russell pissing about, staff holidays etc and not getting it completed the seller decided to rent it out instead, was about £700 down in searches and a survey.Annoying thing was i had a perfectly good and quick solicitor down south, but the Bolton estate agent insisted I use a local solicitor
Underpants
I used Russell & Russell. Can't remember having any issues with them. But it was a long time ago. But I'm being told, by someone ITK, that Amity are the ones you should be thinking of using.
Gonk
Another vote for Amity here. Used them twice for a re-mortgage and sorting out father in laws estate affairs. Bang on both times

List as long as your arm of things that if I worked like that in my job role, I wouldn't have a job for long.
