Aye, but they don’t understand that a business should be self sustaining.

They’re used to being subsidised and they’re too thick to realise that they can’t afford their outgoings.

Fair enough

just judging Nixon by previous form

probably not long before it turned into

‘hi al any news on Forest signing a forward?’

Would be happy to see them taken down a peg or two but not out of existence or even the league. Blackburn, Burnley, Blackpool, Preston, Oldham.... Old school Lancashire rivals that evoke some great memories. Wigan? Nah, they can get to fook, tinpot, classless cnuts.

Love them to go bust

...is the correct answer.

Not sure what's going on round here any more. Place is going soft.

Its amazing how different it looks from the outside to how fans view their own clubs.  Mowbray looks to me to have done a great job (unfortunately), having them top half of Championship consistently, scoring plenty goals and getting some cracking results.  Same with PNE, dropped off a bit this year but always punching above their weight.  Compared to the relative mismanagement at bigger clubs eg Forest, Birmingham, Sheff Wed, Ipswich, Sunderland - careful what they wish for.  Hopefully Mowbray goes, they'll go only one way.

Lennon is available.

Don't want them going bust. Would love them knocked off the perch they've only been able to stay upon due to the financial muscle of backers.

The FFP business is quite interesting and could be a real curse for them.

As for the fans - they are barely any more perspicacious than your average Wiganer. Or to put it another way - numb as piss-stones.

Anybody else enjoying the notion of a sustainable BWFC rising up the leagues while the ugly sisters of Lancashire (Wigan and Blackburn) are embroiled in financial turmoil and strife? Yes please!

Did you see our fans who travelled to Forest Green in their t-shirts for a free pie?

Correct.

It's the start of the slippery slope. They had to go up this season to avoid the FFP issues - 4 straight defeats should have put paid to that silly little idea they have.

I can see 1 or 2 leaving in summer as they look to balance the books. Something has to pay for Sam Gallagher and ben Brereton on their £20k + per week wages. Their fans are baying for Mowbray to be sacked too. Stupid fools think they'll replace him with someone of genuine premier league quality. I dont see Jose tipping up there when Spurs have had enough

4 has just become 5
