Just had a fine through from parking Eye up at the hospital. I stayed 46 mins as I was getting fit tested for a mask as I'm NHS staff. Before parking Eye came in the non hospital based staff had to register their cars so they didn't pay for parking when visiting the hospital for training etc.

My question is, do I contest the fine or ignore the thieving fuckers?

So parking eye aren't at fault?

They do a surgery car park i know well

Works very well so long as numbers are registered in advance

Takes forever to get them to drop a penalty if it was issued correctly

I've been registered since it started. Where I parked it was where employee services is in the old blocks, so surely those spaces are for staff? Either way they can kiss my arse.

Parking eye aren't at fault, thats all I'm saying

You've (mistakenly) parked in the wrong place, I think?

In normal times it took an email to sort it

These days, its weeks if she's persistent

Its usually locums and visting nurses that fall foul of the cams

Fuck it. I'm throwing the pregnancy in and telling a few white lies.

Blondie

I got one in November when we were having the sprog from Bolton

I downloaded the app and topped it up

But hadn't topped up enough

Wrote to them and proved it was a innocent mistake and they dropped it

NHS should never have to pay for parking at a hospital

I wouldnt mind if I was based there. But for what they pay the parking is awful. No proper cctv, shit gravel that chips your paintwork and furthest away from the main building meaning staff are really vulnerable early morning and late at night. Especially when it's dark in winter.

Can you not send them a pic of your cans?

Post a selection on here and we’ll decide which one will be best

Glad this came up, I parked last week and forgot to register.

Just done, and it says I have a balance of zero- which I'm pleased and surprised about. It does say on the car park signs that your first visit is free, but I wasn't anticipating it to happen that way.
