But for someone brought up through the northern soul/punk/ska/Motörhead era SAW killed music and the charts

Totally pointless, as was saying the 90s killed pop TV... Threads would be very short if you aimed that line of thinking at the posts on here. And I don't think anyone said the 90s killed pop TV 🤔 Edited February 27, 2021 by Underpants

But for me it was the start of a slow decline of the charts. If anything was in the charts late 80s/early 90s I didn't want to know. Absolute pish in the main. You see no curse, really? From the moment they signed up for the show they were all doomed.

Site Supporter Spider Posted February 28, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted February 28, 2021 Any year when Pearl Jam release an album is a good year. That 1991 list is a constant drip feed of brilliance. Orbital, 808, PJ, Nirvana, REM, KLF. Fuck me. That happened nowadays and Twitter would implode. Not in Crawley
PJ Harvey is a genius. I don't think she's ever released a bad album.

Never went to earlier ones because it clashed with the football season. I once chose to not go to a Metallica concert because it clashed with a rearranged match we had against Tranmere.
