Site Supporter Biggish Dave 567 Posted March 6 Site Supporter Share Posted March 6 So many head to heads still to be played, there's a third of the season left for a lot of clubs. Having seen that today, does anyone fear going to FGR or Salford or worry about to play Exeter or Cambridge? Sure as hell I don't worry. Bring em on. I'm more confident now than I ever have been, we'll be top 3 by the end of the season

Not really going to have a pop at you they are your thoughts.....99% on here think you are wrong. I dont think Evatt got everything right, but Rome was not built in a day. You have to either get used to Evatt or bite your lip because he aint going anywhere soon

RUREADY2ROLL 254
Pissed off now even though we played very well; but we have sneaked many points recently with late winners so move on to Tuesday and hopefully start winning again

I defended you the other week for your wildly negative posts, I won’t bother next time. How you can claim IE doesn’t have a clue after our recent attacking, winning performances is utterly mindless. 3 minutes ago, Burndens Bogs said: Bradford are shite, Oldham were better than them this week. A kick in the bollox but we’ll finish 10 points above Bradford. They were extremely lucky to get that point today. 4 points off them this season, so bragging rights in our favour, they may make the playoffs but not convinced. 2 minutes ago, mickbrown said: Harsh that. Totally dominated I agree. We played really well today a looked a class above them. As gutted as I am, a point today is no bad way of ending our winning run. We beat Cambridge on Tuesday and we’ll be well and truly back on track, which I expect us to do. Despite having 3 points, undeservedly snatched from us, I hope you had a decent afternoons entertainment. You enticed back in now @mickbrown?

I Don't post on the footy threads as much as I don't consider myself very knowledgeable on the leagues and tactics side of things, just love our club and watching our team. However, just piss off with your bullshit man, it's somewhat tiresome!!!

Site Supporter RONNIE PHILLIPS 672 Posted March 6 Site Supporter Share Posted March 6 We are now by far the best team in the division... until we get into the final third of the pitch. I'd like to see Miller start & Doyle to come on later in the game just to see if it makes a difference. If we work out that conundrum we'll be flying.
Walkden White 33
Decent performance apart from final third again. The only thing that will stop us is just that problem that's been with us all season. We don't score enough from the amount of possession we have and either make poor final balls or make the wrong decision. Evatt has said as much himself recently. captainmed 142
26 points, 2 per game is very unlikely to get you promoted. Personally I feel we have left it too late for the top 3. Plays-offs are surely a definate.
bolton in bedford 14
Feeling deflated in my heart, we played well and deserved to win. I need to listen to my head, I’d have taken a draw at the start of play, another match unbeaten, we’re looking good at last, and being this disappointed at a draw is testament how far we have come since the beginning of the year. We still have loads more points earned after 90 minutes than lost, let’s get some perspective. Back on it Tuesday with the next 3 games all winnable.

Bratfud will be workmanlike, slow and not very good at shootin like all the other teams. If I was them I'd be settling for a point, so we shouldn't be, because then its no longer in our hands to stay above them. They were just as I thought they'd be, like every other team in this league but with maybe a stronger defence. We were better on the ball, more incisive in the 2nd half than we've been for a while. Confirmation that we are better them is a confidence booster. Need to give Arthur more game time for all the reasons previously stated, when chasing a goal, should have been leading earlier. Lee's most influential game to date, a pleasure to watch him. Sarce poor, left on too long. But a positive day overall, just need to beat Cambridge now, let's have no talk of a draw being an OK result.
Eddie 303
Kick in the balls but we all thought it would be a tough tight game against one of the form teams in the league... it wasn’t, we battered them, they had 15 minutes in the first half but apart from that we were so much better than them it was a joke. If we play like that to the end of the season then we will go up automatically, I’ve never been more confident of it. There is not one team in the league that wants to play us, home or away. Beat Cambridge on Tuesday and this becomes a good point.
Farnywhite 69
We played them of the park second half . First half was even and we didn’t create a shot on target but some good crosses were put in . don’t think we invited pressure they just went more direct with nothing to loose and it payed of for them stuffy cunts

I'm more confident now than I ever have been, we'll be top 3 by the end of the season That's my feeling too, nothing to beat. But that doesn't mean we'll win games easily, because as shown v Barrow we can have 90% possession or whatever and fail to trouble the keeper on some days, 2nd half at Southend was painful too. But if we play to our level, have no daft pens/sendings off, we should win most games and then its just down to others dropping a few points which isnt in our hands. I'd like us to be more effective in the final third. We are 8 unbeaten because we are solid in midfield & at the back. We have shuffled Gnuhua, Sarcevic, Afolayan, Fonz & one or two others around & it's made no difference, so it's either one instead of Doyle or someone alongside him which would mean altering our system. We won't keep winning if we only create a couple of chances a game. This isn't a dig at Doyle, I just think we are way below standard up front compared to the rest of the team.
