In the very early days 1-6 was used by hundreds of players.

Told the young un at work there’s just as much chance of winning the lottery with 1-6 than six random numbers

He’s not having it

Not “any” random numbers but same odds as a specified 6 numbers.

What I’m getting at is the wording of “any 6 random numbers”

Will the draw on Saturday be numbers 1-6 or will it be 6 random numbers?

Obviously the massive likelihood is that it’ll be any 6 random numbers. Problem is, there isn’t a prize level for “any 6 random numbers” you actually have to pre-select which “any 6 random numbers” which is the only way 1-6 is the same odds as any SPECIFIED 6 numbers.

Out of the 32 Wednesday/Saturday main draws this year only 11 didn't have at least one number drawn from 50-59.

JSL - for anyone who's still doing the same numbers (from the incept/before 50-59 were added).

I found a guitar tab book a few years back with the numbers me and the first girl I was shacked up with used to put on (massive, but then the rest of her caught up...) written on the inside cover.

I put them into one of those 'what you would've won' historical checkers...

The results were sommat like.

32 x 3 Number £10 prizes and so on up to the lifetime prizes total...

£1,168,296.

(Or something like that).

Including a sixth of a jackpot share in 2004.

We broke up in 2003.

On the plus side I've shagged much, much, much, much better since...

She was batting way out of her league. 😀

And she didn't continue putting them on either, so...

I also only ran them through the checker once.

I have never double-checked to make sure.

I did check a load of random verified results through the checker thing though - they tallied, the checker was legit.

To make it easier, if numbers 1-6 come out, in any order, I’ll give you £1000. If any random 6 numbers (not excluding any of numbers 1-6 but not including only numbers 1-6) you give me £1000.

My lad has never heard of Stephen Lawrence he tells me, but is aware of St George’s Day.

My daughters primary school are all celebrating today, making flags etc..

Personally, I think it’s delightful that we celebrate the life of a 5th Century Greek Palestinian who never set foot in England. Shows just how racist we aren’t.

Honestly, if you say you’re English these days...

It’s a great day. I’m proud To be Scottish I mean English.

I don’t know why people just don’t let those that want to celebrate it do so without shitty comments

The main problem is that for many, it isn’t celebrated enough, and with such feverish gumption in comparison (apparently) to other similar festivals.

Which is bullshit.

Google is dedicated to St George today, schools celebrate it, every newspaper dedicates plenty to it.

Its fine, it really is.

I mention his Greek origins only because of his Greek origins.

I wasn’t having a dig at you.

Do I want to walk round draped a in flag or with a floppy hat on do I fuck.

Some will as it’s a competition for likes on social media. Same as everything nowadays.

Which is what he was saying?

May be he should have said drawn at random, but we knew what he meant.

Any one combination has the same odds as another.

If they are genuinely 6 random numbers then that would include repeats, which is an instant loss
