They ignore Pablo Honey which I always find strange as there are some belters on it.

Hopefully they’ll start to add some in as they turn into the Rolling Stones/pink Floyd of our generation.

They played Creep at Glastonbury, maybe they felt they had too as they played at least one off every album

It's like Supergrass, I've seen them more times than I can remember, easily double figures, but only see them do Alright once, on their farewell tour (and again on their reunion tour), but generally, they hated it despite being their biggest hit

It couldn’t hurt them to do Stop Whispering now and again.

I don’t like Creep either

I suspect Eavis told them you play fuckin creep alright

Reckon the cure got told similar when they headlined it

Cure are a weird one I love their hits and thought yeah I’ll love their whole set. I didn’t .

You and Vegetable are my favourites from Pablo Honey. I still love Creep though. Made a right cock of myself when I was working in the Middle East in my early-20's. Went to a party on an American compound and had a few too many Moonshines. Some yank teacher kept badgering me to play Creep on a guitar that was being handed round because she was a Radiohead fan, and I eventually gave in. Did my best Thom Yorke impression - all the long, high-notes at the top of my voice, totally earnestly, properly into it. As soon as I finished, there was deathly silence. Makes me sweat thinking about it. Ugh.

I highly doubt that. Radiohead could say "We're just going to stand on the stage and fart into microphones" and they'd still get the headline slot at Glastonbury. And I bet it would still be amazing.

Stop Whispering, Thinking About You and Anyone Can Play Guitar

It's a great hat trick three in a row type thing in the middle of an album

Reminds me of this quote from Noel Gallagher

“In an interview with Esquire UK, Gallagher was asked if he was “aware” of the hierarchy of UK bands. He responded, “I’m aware that Radiohead have never had a fucking bad review. I reckon if Thom Yorke fucking shit into a light bulb and started blowing it like an empty beer bottle it’d probably get 9 out of 10 in fucking Mojo. I’m aware of that.”

Also the Cure are famous for their really long sets and throwing away their hits randomly throughout, they've made so many albums and their live sets are pull from them all, their fans are proper hard-core - My other half has seen them loads, always around near the three hour mark. Got into their early stuff, its really good, well worth a listen.

I meant the musical in manc

DD was my first big show, we did a lot of new stuff that other productions followed with regard to marketing on that first tour and that massively boosted my career, for that I'll be forever grateful.

However, DD isn't a musical, it's "the classic film live" There is ony one song sung - the party where she carries the watermelon. No one else sings anything. They also couldn't play the whole of She's like the wind as Swayze wrote the lyrics and he couldn't stand the author so didn't give permission for its use.

The Bodyguard is a musical, so if you actually like musicals it'd be one one for you.

How do you rate Dear Evan Hansen & Everybody's Talking About Jamie?

Seen neither I'm afraid - in all honesty, if it's not for work I don't go and watch them in my free time. In fact, it's rare I go to the theatre in my free time, I prefer gigs, galleries and museums.

My mate claims that he saw them at castlefield bowl, hot summers Friday night and they didn’t play Friday I’m in love.
Now he was either Too pissed to remember or they thought fuck it nahhhh

Sounds about right.

Also it's really by some way not their best song. Big hits do get dulled by over familiarity.

I have enjoyed some of the bands that have moved into the heritage bracket playing full albums though.

The audience is of a certain vintage though. I'm a bit over rock bands sitting down though, I Am Kloot and Spiritulized both did it and whilst I'm not expecting running up and down ramps it does make it a bit dull.

I love the full album gigs. Lauryn Hill did her Solo album then an extended encore of fugees songs which was amazing,I’ve  seen Nas do illmatic (which is arguably my favourite hip hop album ever) with a full string section and band, , then did a full set of songs from his other albums
