Went to a party on an American compound and had a few too many Moonshines. Some yank teacher kept badgering me to play Creep on a guitar that was being handed round because she was a Radiohead fan, and I eventually gave in. Did my best Thom Yorke impression - all the long, high-notes at the top of my voice, totally earnestly, properly into it. As soon as I finished, there was deathly silence. Also the Cure are famous for their really long sets and throwing away their hits randomly throughout, they've made so many albums and their live sets are pull from them all, their fans are proper hard-core - My other half has seen them loads, always around near the three hour mark. I have enjoyed some of the bands that have moved into the heritage bracket playing full albums though. The audience is of a certain vintage though. I'm a bit over rock bands sitting down though, I Am Kloot and Spiritulized both did it and whilst I'm not expecting running up and down ramps it does make it a bit dull.
