If you've never had a pint in Trickshots, Nibblers and Harry AJs, you're not Horwich

I need something bigger.

finding the right pad is hard at the best of times. Right now, it looks nigh on impossible.

anything around £400k would have bagged a decent gaff once upon a time. Not now

Mate of mine, him and his partner sold both their houses to buy prime spot in horwich, type of place that doesn't come up often

Been held up for ages due to land issues so been shacking up in various places

Found out today the sellers might be having second thoughts and staying put

Which leaves them in a tight spot

There's nowt going at the moment, fuckall like what they were buying, gutted to say the least

€461k - seven minutes walk to the beach.

There's even a McDonalds over the road.

If folk wanted to live on the beach then one can compromise...

The above is 220 sq/m for your €461k

This (below) is only €124.5k

33 sq/m.

Sin balanceo de gatos.

The sea in front of that building is an enchanting emerald green at night.

Hence the building's name 'Aguas Verdes'...

And there's a gay nightclub around the corner.

The house I wanted to buy 5 years ago was £20k cheaper than what I ending up going with.
It was sold in November for £80k more than the asking price from 5 years ago.
The market is mental

My daughter and her boyfriend moved into their first home together just before Christmas and my son and his girlfriend have bought their first home which is with the solicitor at the moment. He should be gone too in the next couple of weeks.

both have paid £190k which for a first step on the housing ladder is fucking outrageous.

It’s all proof that the whole economy is propped up by “equity” and we are one more housing crash away from being a third world country

Toxteth is one-up on Horwich...

It's only in such demand as bigots clamour to move there to be among 'their own'.

Only in very rare exceptions, if your postcode begins BL you're probably a mere shatterstone's throw from a rough-ish area, FACT.

he was in the year above me at St Josephs

was notorious for doing magic mushrooms when we were about 13, think he may have overdosed once and had a week off school, something like that

edit: my brother says it was a different lad, and said overdose happened at school during a lesson, anyway, lad above was always a wrong un
