gonzo
I’d consumed 12 pints of Heineken by the time I watched it last night and can’t remember a single thing about it. Probably a blessing given some of the stuff I’ve read. Another series is nailed on with James Nesbit as the main man deffo.

Intrigued to know how he arranged fake forensics to hide his own non death.

Great shows rarely have exciting and/or definite endings, sadly. I liked the Sopranos ending especially the second time I watched it. Breaking Bad, The Wire are the only two standouts what really ended well for me.
MancWanderer
Mrs Manc had never watched it. She’s binge watched the first two series last night and today. Got me going. Just started series 1 again

It’s all the back references from the last couple of series. Same here. First time I watched I didn’t take them in so need to go back again. Hadn’t realised how long ago the early series were
Underpants
I had to pause a lot of the 6th series to Google some characters from previous series'. It moves at a pace so difficult to keep up at times. I found the 6th series just as compelling as the others. My thought process was conjuring up all sorts of twists as it went along. But I found the big reveal a bit of a anticlimax. L/H White
wasn't the ending I thought it'd be, then again who would we have been happy with as the 4th caddie? Doesn't take anthing away from what a unreal show it is started out on weds night about 11pm on bbc2
Site Supporter MickyD Posted May 4, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted May 4, 2021 We binge watched just before the latest series started and still didn’t pick up on certain characters. It was very clever putting a very young Pilkington in amongst the OCG as a child and then as a bent cop. I’m contemplating binge watching again to see what passed me by first time and ended up fairly important.
Underpants
I'm already looking forward to the 7th series.
Matt Lofthouse
Just binged the lot, it was ok with a couple of shite series that lost me. Not sure I got the big wank about it to be honest, like most of the British stuff.
MancWanderer
Just finished Series 1, 2 and 3. I’m amazed at how much I’d forgotten by the time I watched Series 6 and it makes so much more sense this time round

Moderators Zico Posted May 10, 2021 Moderators Share Posted May 10, 2021 finished this last night was ok I guess, not really sure there was much point in dragging it out for another series I did more than once commen to the mrs this series that they're making Buckles out to be relatively stupid for a high ranking cop, but didn't think it would be him anyway the highlight for me was the casting of those women prison officers - whoever got told to find two women with proper baddy faces did their job perfectly

Nowack
Series 3 Ep1 was the standout episode in my opinion, Daniel Mays is a quality actor.
