If it is a muscle thing, maybe hes the one who has been carrying an injury and if it is, prob last we will see of him

Anyway, id prefer to have to replace john than gilkes

I’m thinking Gilkes was using his experience going down injured, think he will be fine for saturday.

He went down suffering from embarrassment, perhaps

Seriously, the ball was in the air in our box, i think he took a bang

Hooefully, nothing more

We managed to scrape a win between two poor teams in a bad league. Got a bad feeling about weekend as we need to get out of this pub league and try and remember who BWFC really are.

Just cant get the “we are back” bollocks from the rah rah rah dimwits.

At first look he landed with a straight leg but the fact he was able to carry on made me think he was wasting a bit of time

Thinking about it, Gilks must have been hurt to a degree, as he stayed down, even though the ball was in play, which is a big risk. Think the ref blew because their lad was holding his head.

I do think he milked it afterwards though. Kill some time.

Didn't they keep calling it the ' Dark Arts '  on the commentary earlier in the season.

No doubt. A bloody risk though, when the ball is still in play.

Had the Carlise commentary on; preferred it the usual
