No one knows anything all speculation, I have a mate at Liverpool and they’re the same, and the players have  been told not to speak to the media or post things on social media and basically carry on as normal

even Marcus Rashford?  as it seems some people are desperate to hear his thoughts on the matter

Looking more and more of a play to break up the Prems dominance in Europe this, by the Spanish clubs.

Are the Prem clubs overly dominant in Europe?

Look at the CL, only 2 English winners in the last 10 years (6 from Spain, 2 from Germany)

UEFA Cup, only 3 English winners in the last 10 years (6 from Spain, 1 from Portugal)

Clearly the Spanish are the dominant force in Europe

Who’s the new big 6 then when these are booted out?

Villa, Newcastle, Everton, Leicester, Sheffield Wednesday and Southampton maybe?

Leeds, Nottingham Forest, Derby, Wolves, Sunderland, Sheffield Utd, even Wanderers. Ipswich, Norwich, West Ham, Portsmouth? We have many clubs, bigger and more recent winners, than some wanting to break away. Why the doom and gloom, piss them off and the sooner the better. I can’t understand all this negativity about football being destroyed in this country. Not at all, it can be the best thing that’s happened to domestic football since the PL (Greed League) was formed. Time to reset, get away from the grotesque and ridiculous wage levels, reduce entry prices so young people can afford to attend and look how we can move to the German, fan owned structure. Let’s not see this as a backward step but a positive move forward. It’s sad to lose these big clubs history but they are businesses before football clubs these days and I don’t blame them for their moves to look after themselves and their interests. It’s what businesses do.

And Barca.

The PL is the most profitable league in the world bar absolutely none.
Id imagine Real and Barca are the ring leaders here with United and want more of a champions league slice of the pie because of their history but that’s not how it works.
I suspect Chelsea and City didn’t want to be left behind.

Spurs and Arsenal just want the money, same as Liverpool if their skint rumours are true.
