Nope, just fungus.

And organs.

So no Psilocybin?

Nor Pork Scratchings?

You've probably ate fuckloads of offal and never even been aware of it.

Chicken Livers are like nature's blueys - fuck knows what chemicals they put in their chips but their livers aren't metabolising it fully.

I beg your pardon. I live in a very leafy south london suburb in a very nice townhouse with off road parking and delightful views over the Ravensbourne valley and across to Crystal Palace and pay through the nose for the priviledge, I'll have you know.

Anyway, was out early going to the hospital this morning so I treated myself to breakfast from the local cafe. A lovely bacon and halloumi roll. Another breakfast of champions.

So good did it sound, a local workman type person said - that sounds lovely and ordered one for his good self.

It's even got some lovely 70s typography. Its worth a trip if you are ever in the area (just avoid sat morning when it gets invaded by Park runners) Bridge Cafe image

i bet you still wear Wifrids finger less gloves too 😄

Probably going a bit off subject here but was talking about food today at work and told girls that I've never had a potato cake. They think I'm a weirdo now.

If folk like spreadable stuff on butties - they're missing out if they don't at least try hoummus.

Caramelised onion stuff from Morrisons is good.

It adds substance to curries too.

It's good versatile stuff.

And couscous is absolutely no different from rice or pasta.

It's 89p a kilo at Lidl, that's hardly elitist fayre.

I guarantee at least someone will at least occasionally fuck rice off for it if they give it a go.

We get a huge tub from the Turkish supermarket once a week - costs less than those little ones in Sainsbury's etc

That and some warm pitta is always a go to treat - that an a slice of Lahmacun or a Boreghi cost nowt and make up for the lack of a decent pastie shop down here.

Fussy eaters obviously have never known genuine hunger.

I struggle to think of anything I'd point blank refuse to eat.

I have a problem with how certain foods are cooked/served but I'd eat the component ingredients if I or someone else did sommat different with them.

I was thinking about this, I'm not sure there is anything I don't like (I mean I'm not thinking about some of the wierd and wonderful more exotic dishes like snake eggs, deep fried spiders etc)

There are things I prefer, but nothing I'd refuse to eat like mushrooms. I was never a fan of celery but without it in some soups, they just aren't as nice.

Was picky as a kid, espcially with seafood but now I'd happily give up meat before fish.

We go through a massive tub of it each week and Tsatziki as well  - like you, we don't buy them shitty little tubs from Sainsbury or Asda, we get them from a local "European" shop, cheap as chips
