Great Lever - Teenager stabbed to death

We need to get prison staff and ex cons going into schools. And dare I suggest, school trips to prisons.

Whilst it’s incredibly sad that this young lad has died. 2 more lads have just about written off their lives as well. 3 sets of parents have just lost their sons in one act of stupidity.

It’s crazy.

This joint enterprise law is controversial. Remember seeing one woman's fight to challenge its use.

Remember it being used in the case of some Scouse kid being killed

If one person does the stabbing but five others are all in and up for seeing it happen then they should all be treated the same imo

My Owd fella and a few lads were taken to strangeways at school. He said it scared the life out of him and put him on the straight and narrow before acting the goat turned into anything serious.

It was the guy in Warrington who was kicked to death by them 5 scallies.  Anthony Newland? I'm sure the mum of one of them said her son was more a bystander, chronically short sighted etc

We used to do it years ago but it was stopped by psychologists who said that anybody who had attended our talks and got into trouble were more likely to commit suicide because of the fear of going to prison and experiencing what we had told them. We had a group of youths brought in from Glodwick who were bordering on criminality and gave them our talk (we had 2 cons helping us reliving their lives and crimes) on the way back to Glodwick a lad handed the youth worker a load of stolen credit cards, so it did work for some

They knew. And if they ain't for giving up the one who did it, then they all deserve locking up.

They all deserve it anyway

Ultimate example of culpable homicide:

Alabama Woman Who Was Shot While Pregnant Is Charged in Fetus’s Death - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

Marshae Jones was five months pregnant when she was shot in the stomach. Her fetus did not survive the shooting, which the authorities say happened during a dispute with another woman.

But on Wednesday, it was Ms. Jones who was charged in the death.

Ms. Jones, 28, was charged with manslaughter and released from jail on Thursday after posting $50,000 bond, according to the authorities and the website of Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama. The police have said she was culpable because she started the fight that led to the shooting and failed to remove herself from harm’s way.
