Remember when I was pre-teen my middle brother bought me two compilation albums I still love even now, Complete Madness by Madness and The Collection by Ultravox. This was the same brother who a couple of years later also bought me the films Scum and The Warriors on VHS, even though I was nowhere near 18 years of age. This was regarded as a Northern Soul classic and heavily played at The Wigan Casino or The Twisted Wheel during the 70s Northern Soul Scene. Got into Northern Soul because one of the best record shops I've ever been to is run by a bit of a Northern Soul DJing legend, Rob Smith of Rob's Records in Nottingham.
