Irn Bru

Not been the same , since it was stopped being made in Atherton.

Taste - used to taste like very sweet cough medicine.

But was addictive.

When I worked there , on a Friday you could take home as much as you wanted .

They were one of the first to can wine . You were limited to what you could take of that.

Especially after the local pubs were flogging it off by the case load.

And still no one knows what it tastes of

Dr Pepper tastes like fizzy benelin, Coca Cola tastes like opium

Irn bru, no fucker knows, if this was the million pound question not even a man coughing in the audience could help you

I know a girl who works in marketing for Irn Bru.

It was her that told me they use capsicum as one of the ‘secret’ ingredients. Apparently it’s a chilli variety they grow themselves and only 5-6 people know the actual name or have access to it. Or something like that.

The rest of the flavour is sugar.

Right, now we’re getting somewhere, years ago I went to Mexico and I had this drink, shot of vodka, tequila, lemon, and this bright red liquer, and fizzy water mixed all together and it was bright Orange, it tasted like irn bru, I asked him what the red thing was and he said cayenne pepper extract

Does dandelion and burdock taste of dandelion and burdock? Or is that a daft question?
