If it's considered unsafe without one then keep them shut until three weeks after every adult has been offered a second vaccination, or if it's safe enough to allow people to attend without a vaccine passport now now then a vaccine passport shouldn't be required at all. At the end of the day, bugs and diseases kill folk every day, it’s about being realistic and balancing out the needs of the many. Forcing people to have the vaccine is the right thing to do. The logic was pointed out in the briefing iirc, though it may have been afterwards. Numbers of young folk being vaccinated has dropped off. The time at which this comes into being, is after the date at which all those eligible will have been offered jabs. Merely a kick up the backside, and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen. Come to think of it I didn't like people within 2 metres of me pre-pandemic. Went into Screwfix today, it was busy and I had to queue but everyone was wearing masks as usual.
