I agree, they'll let us have the rest of this month, and I suspect even the August bank holiday, then it's back into lockdown (Even though Boris said that wouldn't happen)
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted July 20, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted July 20, 2021 If another one occurs, it will be later I fancy. Seems there is some deliberate intent to crack on now, and get this peak overwith before poorer weather arrives. Unless, of course the numbers do get beyond all expectations. Site Supporter Spider Posted July 20, 2021 Author Site Supporter Share Posted July 20, 2021 Next lockdown will be November at the soonest. Though I doubt it’s going to happen. Honestly think we’re being left to it.
Moderators Casino Posted July 20, 2021 Moderators Share Posted July 20, 2021 Normally, id say he'd lose all cedibilty if he reversed things But normally a PM would have some credibility to lose

I did see something of bbc text, saying that this night club business of two jabs for entry, wasn't clearly defined, and potentially something might apply to larger stadiums. If you're pinged, you get picked up and dropped off in a covid bus, and into the isolation marquee. Non pinged into the other one. Same ales, just no meeting. Yes, the suggested any place with a capacity of over 16,000 people - the problem is, we have that, but we'll only be getting 13,000 people through the door, so why should we have that hassle, and also does it mean in order to go to a game, would you have to gert there really early in order to have your documents/app checked?!?! It's not been thought out properly at all.

If necessary, they'll firm up later, though I'm not convinced it will come into being. If it does, it's not the end of the world- plenty of stewards when you got through the turnstiles, so maybe they'd use them on the outside first. Nowack
In Sainsbury's today I only saw 2 people without a mask. One of those was stacking shelves and the other was with 2 people with masks on.

Dimron
Did a rough guesstimate yesterday... I reckon that around 33% of my direct & subbie operatives are off with either a positive test or have been pinged. Working back I believe it was mainly caused by them watching the Euros in the pubs. Must admit I feel left out at not getting pinged and having to take the flak over not having enough manpower to deliver.

Site Supporter Spider Posted July 22, 2021 Author Site Supporter Share Posted July 22, 2021 Just fuck it all off. If you get really ill, go to hospital as they're still quiet. Otherwise, act like you would with a cold or flu and ride it out. The vaccine does the heavy lifting protection-wise. Lots and lots of people are rather enjoying their "isolation"
