End of August, the “irreversable” easing of lockdown measures will be errr reversed.

I agree, they'll let us have the rest of this month, and I suspect even the August bank holiday, then it's back into lockdown (Even though Boris said that wouldn't happen)

Next lockdown will be November at the soonest. Though I doubt it’s going to happen.

Honestly think we’re being left to it.

Lancs cricket ground last night makes me agree, 20k+ no masks no social distancing, no checking in felt like back to normality

Interesting; seems the trials have expanded now into something akin to normality.

I did see something of bbc text, saying that this night club business of two jabs for entry, wasn't clearly defined, and potentially something might apply to larger stadiums.

Maybe they need 2 marquees. If you're pinged, you get picked up and dropped off in a covid bus, and into the isolation marquee.

Non pinged into the other one. Same ales, just no meeting.

Yes, the suggested any place with a capacity of over 16,000 people - the problem is, we have that, but we'll only be getting 13,000 people through the door, so why should we have that hassle, and also does it mean in order to go to a game, would you have to gert there really early in order to have your documents/app checked?!?!

It's not been thought out properly at all.

In fairness, it was only a brief comment on the restricted text page. Heard nothing anywhere else.

If necessary, they'll firm up later, though I'm not convinced it will come into being.

If it does, it's not the end of the world- plenty of stewards when you got through the turnstiles, so maybe they'd use them on the outside first.

How long are we giving it before restrictions start coming back?

I'm going for 3 weeks.

No chance that soon.

Parliament on recess you'll hear doom mongering in the press all summer but no decisions made til the ponces get back to work.

"you had your chance and you blew it".

I believe you can have the app for checking in purposes but you can turn off something

Maybe the bluetooth?

All a bit clever for me, i just fucked it off

Likewise. 10 of us when out in Manchester in June. 6 of us had the app and checked in. 2 of us got pinged.

Load of bollocks

Did a rough guesstimate yesterday... I reckon that around 33% of my direct & subbie operatives are off with either a positive test or have been pinged. Working back I believe it was mainly caused by them watching the Euros in the pubs.

Must admit I feel left out at not getting pinged and having to take the flak over not having enough manpower to deliver.

Just fuck it all off.

If you get really ill, go to hospital as they're still quiet.

Otherwise, act like you would with a cold or flu and ride it out. The vaccine does the heavy lifting protection-wise.

Lots and lots of people are rather enjoying their "isolation"
