What a lovely bit of normality.

Longridge weren’t a bad side tbf. Goalkeeper in particular had a good game.

Only weak link from our point of view was Gordon. Our second half options going forward looked very exciting indeed.

Had to chuckle at the lads asking each Bolton player in turn “if it was coming home”, blissfully unaware of the short responses they were to get from MJ Williams and Declan John 😂

No Politic or Gilks. I'm guessing they're the Covid 2.

... &, just to piss people off, I'm pleased to see Darcy get a run, play well & even get a goal. Like Vaz Te, this will be his year.

Baptiste and Edwards.

Politic not ready and Gilks has had a knee op. He was at Longridge in the crowd.

Good evenings viewing

Second half chalk and cheese to the first. Dapo and Amaechi looked lively albeit rusty. Bakayoko can shift for a big lad. Sheehan clearly has pedigree but wasn’t really the game or pitch for him. Everyone else were pretty steady.

Evatt pretty much grilled the lot of them at half time. Not brave enough, not trusting enough, too much sideways and backwards etc.

Second half we had a bit more purpose. Darcy looked lively and Gordon at left back put in a good showing. Kieran Lee’s evidently a cut above. Delf looked a bit more interested too.

I know it’s ‘only’ Cols but still an enjoyable watch.

Also nice to see Shazza in the stands. Made time for absolutely anyone and everyone.

From the Evening News .... "Wanderers have also confirmed that Dennis Politic and Eoin Doyle are currently self-isolating.

Politic will be out until next Monday, while Doyle – who began self-isolation yesterday – should return a week on Thursday.

Evatt says he is still looking to move players on but said Ali Crawford’s absence had been down to injury and not exclusion".

Good weather, good drink and a good night. Played some neat stuff, Colls put a great shift in. Remember reading that Gordon looked class last pre season....

Was gna try to say hello to Sharon after the game put she was getting mobbed so sacked it. Great to see her there though.

To anyone who was at Longridge or Colls.........i'd guess that Johnston & Santos will be our starting centre backs, so what are the 1st impressions of Johnston

& Darcy, he's always had ability but does he seem to have bulked up/toughened up enough for 1st team now ?
