I never said that at anytime. I started off by talking about Sharon saying she was here because as she said herself, it was God who sent her to be here (or whatever her exact words were) and defined her reason for God sending her as being 'to do good and change people's lives'. I then went on to say this... Which is true. Even Desperado agrees to that... I actually said I was happy for Sharon to pour money into the club... ...then went on to point out the contradiction to what Sharon said was her (and Nick Luckock's), raison d'etre (reason for being) - 'to do good and change people's lives' I refer you again to Desperado's quote above, There is nothing there that isn't true, she was sent by God (her words not mine) to be here (BWFC) 'to do good and change people's lives'. Well football clubs are a money pit aren't they? How is throwing her millions into a financial black hole effective in anyway, wouldn't it be better to achieve her 'reason for being' by spending those millions on doing good and changing people's lives than paying off annual trading losses? Yes I get that she facilitated the raising of £4.4m to do good things but she had £84.4m and could have used every penny of it, if that was her aim, couldn't she? Has for my 'pearls' as you call them, am I wrong, is there not more to life than football, don't people openly fawn over 'Aunty' Sharon, 'she saved us', 'I'm eternally grateful', 'she can never do anything wrong in my eyes' - type comments? Football is not the be all and end all in anyone's life and if it is then that is not normal. I'm passionate about BWFC too, I've been following them for longer than many on here but I'm rational and level headed as well, At least one person needed to be told that the club isn't more important than cancer... As for this - wrong again.. I DIDN'T compare a 'private football infrastructure investment (what ever that is?) to charity work, I said if Sharon wants to do good and change people's lives then doing it a debt ridden football club isn't the most obvious place to do it and wouldn't it be better instead of paying £14m to cover the last reported trading loss by spending it instead 'doing good and changing people's lives - well wouldn't it? I got called out by a number of the usual suspects (no surprise there), Desperado was perhaps the most tenacious but even he acknowledge some of my points as valid, Krimzon called me a condescending prick, believes the club to be more important than dealing with cancer (despite the fact he worked in oncology himself) and yourself basically - and it is clear that you have misunderstood me as I've had to list it out as to what I was actually saying. And I'm always going to get bad press off some... Must be a right laugh in his pub if everyone has a cancer deathbed stories to tell, don't you think?

Increased away allocations at Lincoln...

https://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/106537-increased-away-allocations-at-lincoln/?do=findComment&comment=2819999

I thought we were behind the goal last time, and then wasn't that terracing that they gave to away fans too? We were taught to respect our elders and that was a policy which paid off. They were willing to teach me so much in return. The gradual decline/descent into the abyss we are seeing is interwoven with this overall attitude of lack of respect for most things - the law, other peoples property, pride in personal appearance etc. As the ever increasing population wends its merry way, there is only one way this is all heading. All of us on here will be well gone but dog eat dog, every man for himself anarchy will ensue prior to inevitable oblivion. The paradox with means testing pensions is that those who contributed most (via higher income / NI tax payments) would be the ones who would get least. The ones who couldn’t afford to “pay in” much would be rewarded with bigger pensions. So your suggestion of basing it on contributions would seem fairer - but those with least would suffer.

Politics - Part 2

https://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/106462-politics-part-2/?do=findComment&comment=2819982

The pension question has been discussed many times on here. Going forward, it’s obvious to me it should be ‘means tested’ those with a ‘fucking big pension pot’ should get nothing from the tax payer. Those further down the social economic spectrum should get payments relative to their contribution to society. We could however, have a pension system similar to the rest of Europe. It isn’t difficult.🤷‍♂️

Transfer Gossip

https://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/87214-transfer-gossip/?do=findComment&comment=2819981

Quite some game that, Celtic could have been two down (two disallowed) then scored three worldies

Transfer Gossip

https://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/87214-transfer-gossip/?do=findComment&comment=2819980

Well to be fair they weren’t exactly looking for a goal at 3 up so it’s probably understandable they wouldn’t be throwing attacking subs on. Not sure what people are seeing but there's no ambiguity there. At Barnsley he played on the right of their front 3 mainly because they played a rigid 433 and in his first season here when Evatt had lost his mind he also played on the right of our front 3 in a 343. However for both teams he would drift infield and support the main central striker, and ever since Evatt went the only position he has played is either the one behind the striker on a 4231 or a few times SS has put him fully up top in a 352.

Football Ventures

https://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/93974-football-ventures/?do=findComment&comment=2819978

I would say you started this tangent because you said you didn't get why £80m shouldt be spent on a football club because there are "more deserving causes." Krimzon was simply pointing out investors choose where to put their own money based on their own interests, and as a Bolton fan, he’s glad they chose our club rather than a charity. Then we get pearls such as: "There's more to life than just football. You will learn that one day." "I'm beginning to get the feeling that several of you are getting a bit enraptured in a sort of 'cultish' way - Sharon can do no wrong, Sharon is our saviour, sort of way." "I just want to spell out football is not the be all and end all for anyone (at least it shouldn't be) and that there are more important things in life" thanks, we all know that, but this is a forum where we come to talk about one of the most "important" things in our lives that we're all passionate. we don't need to be told on here that the club isn't more important that cancer. Nobody is buying the "I'm just a victim getting undeserved bad press" routine. You started a nonsensical argument comparing private football infrastructure investment to charity work, got called out by half the forum for talking nonsense, gave some rather patronising replies, and now you're claiming to be misunderstood.

Politics - Part 2

https://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/106462-politics-part-2/?do=findComment&comment=2819977

Pass it on to quite a few reform councillors when youve done

Politics - Part 2

https://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/106462-politics-part-2/?do=findComment&comment=2819976

I could probably do with a copy of that
