Dempsey is a perfect squad player and has shown before he's willing to play through the pain barrier for the club. The 'we need better if we go up' line could apply to 90% of the squad but this last up to 5 games of the season someone with the guts of Dempsey could prove invaluable.
  2. Happy St. George’s day. 🌹

At the end of the season, probably. Right now he is a loss. A fit and firing Dempsey will benefit us for the next 5 games in some way shape or form.
  4. THE DAY THE MEDIA ARE FRIGHTENED OF CELEBRATING
  5. Only looks right to me when it has 'Arms' after it.

wouldn't have a game without them.
  7. Nice for us to be honouring the memory of the 56 supporters who lost their lives. Like we have done on previous occasions I hope we play our part in a special remembrance.
  8. It'll be lovely, with a bit of cheddar on it
  9. A few pundits tried to bring that in as a term back when Pirlo was at his peak around 2010 and I was glad it didn't stick then and don't want to hear it again
  10. you've missed the T and included a surplus D and spelt 'furt' wrong.

Love Dempsey, Does as asks, rarely has a bad game, but think the latest lot of injuries are now taking their toll on him. I hope he stays, great squad player when fit
  12. He rang me talking utter broken biscuits smashed off hit tits on whatever they'd loaded him with They reckon he could be home middle of next week. Not fucking about. With the amount of metal in it he could weigh the cunting thing in

I like his commitment, and he has an eye fir goal too. Just feel his injuries have caught up with him now. Shame.
  14. Yeah I'm the same Know someone whose girlfriend at the time died in it The fans on the pitch chanting, they were celebrating going up, maybe had a few, fire starts and they probably don't realise the extent of it at the time Watching it back with the commentary on makes it even more horrific
  15. Thanks @MancWanderer
  16. Same. Can't say I feel the same about the chanting though. We've discussed it before, and I'm sure for many it's just an initial, alcohol driven bravado like response to the shock of what's unfolding. I'm sure many soon sobered up. Anyway, it's certainly horrific footage.
  17. The lad seems to have forgot who’s buying all these drugs

We need better than him if we stay down imo. And I like the lad.
  19. Not sure why but I occasionally watch the video from that and it still never ceases to shock me. Took about 8 minutes from just a bit of smoke to full on inferno. Madness. Plus them thick cunts chanting.

Hopefully less than 2-0 down this time to give him a chance. He was our MOTM last time, after coming on as sub.
  22. “Performative gatekeeping” at least it was right about that 😉
  23. PS - AI thinks you're a prick! 😂
  24. Although not a new thing Cleared off the line Despite it being about three feet in front of the line
  25. OK Cheese! 😁
  26. Can’t unsee this now
  27. You should be thoroughly embarrassed that you're asking AI anything, never mind the veracity of blatantly obvious AI-generated/editted images.

I really like Dempsey. But I do think we're going to need to look to better quality and consistency to make the step up.

  31. I was reading earlier, it's looking likely that Trump will sign a deal, with regards to Uranium enrichment, that will be pretty much identical to the Obama deal (2015) that he tore up when first in office in 2018. He did of course call the Obama deal "one of the worst deals ever made" Iran whilst they've had the fuck bombed out of them, have still managed to mug Trump off. So, thus far, he's started a pointless war that has made everything economically far worse for the rest of the world. Iran still controls the Straits. The same regime is still in charge, different personnel, but still the same regime. he's destroyed their entire military capability, but they can still shoot down planes and seize ships. Russia have benefitted from a relaxation of sanctions and increased oil pricing. Still, on the plus side, he's made a fortune manipulating the markets (allegedly) Whaddaguy

Watched the Leverkusen v Bayern cup game. Harry Kane. Would be very pleased to see him collect three winners medals this season. Wouldn't mind him getting a fourth after the season ends either.
  39. I've no opinion on Arteta as a top manager, like I don't know how good Pep is because I've only seen him at the richest club in the Prem, sometimes doing well, sometimes failing. But its quite ironic that if Arteta wins his last few matches this season and they win the Champs league and Prem, he will be a legend, statue erected, lifetime contract and his tactics will be seen as the blueprint for successful teams. If he loses a couple of games between now and the end of the season he's getting sacked, he's a bottler, his tactics are terrible and maybe some Arsenal fans will never forgive him. On a lesser scale, SS is at a similar crossroads in his career.
  40. Sadiq's Bolton Bloody immigrants
  41. Same with the last TV deal. Trumpeted as more money for the game. Reality was wages increased further and fans were further inconvenienced with ridiculous KO times.
  42. I remember, many years ago, Alan Sugar, when chairman of Spurs, saying he hated new negotiations between the PL and Sky. He said more money was the inevitable outcome & instead of that money feeding through to the clubs it simply went into the players pockets. If a club was losing money now it would continue to lose money ... just more of it. He was right too.
  43. They are going to have a bloke dressed as a copper waving a hard drive running behind him.......he should set a new world record 🤣🤣
  44. My old man's still driving at 88. He's a safe, competent driver, although he got his first speeding ticket last year, and he relies heavily on his car. He's just had his licence renewed and I've no concerns. Mates mum however, similar age, licence revoked, got cataracts and the family just found she's been nipping to the supermarket in her car when its raining! They've ended up having to disable the car to put a stop to it.
