Not a chance the court would decide the sale of the club can continue, then decide on sept 2nd that bassini owns the club - not a prayer.2 likes

The only person who said our our standards will be below those of the EU is you. As usual making stuff up and twisting reality. Try scrutinising your own point. Plenty of nations around the world will have lower food standards than the EU. They still export there. Weird eh? Or could it be that they have production standards on exported goods that are acceptable? Yet more barrier erecting to defend a losing cause.2 likes

Very true Was thinking that 1800 at wycombe should easily translate into 2000 at tranmere, but wycombe had first game, new ground and close to the london ubers in its favour Still think tranmere sells out which when you think its youth team football, is pretty special for a club on its arse I just cant help wanting to see the enthusiasm of these kids Its infectious1 like

Mallu. He was there today. Owns This and That in Manchester. Posted a picture of Bassini and his legal team in his cafe after the hearing saying ‘Bolton’s new owner.’1 like

I was in court today, start to finish. I'm not sure what was more stressful, being in there or trying to get 7 Tranmere tickets - the 2 actually consumed an equal amount of my day. Anyway, we should be good to go now, as we should have been on Friday but for a 'misinterpretation' when Bassini sent the Thursday decision to the EFL, administrators and 'others', absent critical, and potentially contemptuous, information. The key indicator to me was when the Inner Circle QC turned to his solicitor and winked after summing up. That said, the Bassini QC was smoother than an oil slick and had me seduced for a while. Bassini was clearly upset in the side room at the end, but I really can't escape the notion that all of this (the bungled injunction) this was about money, not the club.1 like

Thanks for the replies so far. One thing which has been flagged up 2 / 3 times is getting away after the game. We'll build that in to our Away Fans Guide from now on. Next time, its probably best aiming for J19 at Heywood if you're coming via Motorway. Alternatively, there's always the option of going up Edenfield Road up towards Owd Betts and heading back to Bolton through Rammy. Bit longer but will be relatively traffic free.1 like

The sooner they do, the sooner we can look to sign a couple up. Going off what we've seen so far, it shouldn't take too much, a handful of judicious signings, to give us a decent chance of staying up. It just needs to happen quickly though. A bit of hope and quality on the pitch and they may start to make a bit more through the turnstiles than initially anticipated.1 like

Makes great sense. Agree a deal then say it’s not valid. Let someone else buy it. Then Spend hundreds of thousands of pounds on legal costs and years of time trying to buy the same asset when you could have just honored the original deal and saved time and money? im assuming youre on the wind up here?1 like

That statement tells the best part of fuck all, if it was an hour away from completion last week, it should still be.1 like

Interesting that. Helps pull a few things together. It seems that KA agreed to sell the 94.5% BL shares to Bassini for half the £250K paid to Holdsworth in May 2016 and the £150K paid to Quantuma in Aug/Sept 2017 to acquire Holdsworth's BL shares. No big bucks involved in this but large sums were needed to settle overdue secured and unsecured creditors and fund losses for the next two years. This was the real 'proof of funding' test.1 like

Ken v Bassini straightener outside the club shop is the only way to sort this Fiver a ticket (no discounts for previous S/T holders) so might fund a new player1 like

Want, but couldn't afford it when he signed an SPA, and didn't fulfil his end of the transaction.1 like

Yeh probably. The court must be aware that the deal with FV is close to completion, but has left the door open for Bassini to have a case against KA. Bassini won’t be owning BWFC this time, but FV need to complete sharpish.1 like

What so Bassini could go after Ken for compo but can't touch the club? I'd settle for that!1 like

Agreed. Brockbank should be our first choice right back now. Zouma and Edwards occasionally together or 1 at the side with Hobbs If we ever move forward with the takeover then Weir, Darcy and Politic should all feature regularly1 like

Text from EFL Regarding your suitability to purchase BWFC from Kenneth Anderson. OK If only he'd scrolled down to see the rest of the text dickhead, you failed on all counts. Stop kidding yourself you demented wanker.1 like

I would like that, then for FV to complete, then whatever KA makes out of the deal, he loses to LB in damages/compensation/whatever though there is a dark corner of my mind that is curious to see what happens if LB wins and takes over, which I put down to the boredom of this whole farce1 like

A very accurate critique of ST, discussing this topic with him in a rational manner is pointless.1 like

To be fair - I'm a remainer - and it did sound as if you were implying that if there was any drop in standards in what we import - then we wouldn't be able to export any foodstuffs to the EU. That's what I inferred anyway.1 like

Maybe the bloke was just a prick. 😁🙄😃 today was a harsh dose of reality. It is asking too much of the kids to compete twice a week against adults with bigger squads. You can never knock their commitment but we also have to think of their long term welfare. Parky took Connel out of games last season to protect his development. 3 lads off injured tonight. These kids have been brilliant hopefully we get the mess sorted because it is unfair to ask them to keep doing this job. Even in defeat there is more of a feel good factor about the club than for a long time.1 like

Kenny Deuchar qualified as a doctor and went on to play in each division of the Scottish league, as well as brief sojourns in English League One (for Northampton) and the MLS in the first decade of this century. Dr Kevin O'Flanagan played for Arsenal in the first league season after WWII. He was a part-time GP and remained an amateur (not because he was a doctor but because he wanted to be able to continue to play RU).1 like
