  1. We were saved. 10 weeks not months. Amazing progress. A team we can get behind, playing entertaining football (small glitch y’day aside). In with a chance of staying up despite a crippling injury list. Circa 10k STHs. Listening to fans about catering & ticket prices. Ex players paid up. Still lots to do both on and off the pitch and the wider club need some time to get everything sorted. But everything moving in the right direction.

  3. Dress it up how you want, find as many reasons/excuses as you like, but the bottom line is that yesterday simply wasn't good enough. Plymouth's players are/were no better than ours are, they just seemed to want it more. The likelihood is that we're going down, so a Cup run would have been a nice boost for a club & fans that have had pretty much jack shit to crow about of late, never mind the added revenue a cup run brings. I'm now at the point of being sick of being told that I should be grateful that I've even got a club to support : yeah, I got that message a long time ago. As for an off day, we all have the, but there seemed to a collective lack of shit given yesterday, even Hill went against what he'd said the week before. He hauled a lad off after 30 mins, he subbed a sub etc etc, but was "content" to let yesterday's starting XI play a full hour? Strange.

  6. The heavyweight division stimulated my interest again when Wilder & Fury drew. My opinion of Fury changed for the better. And with the heavyweight scene over here being strong I thought, hello this is worth my time again. But all it has been is bollox fights with bollox opponents and everyone avoiding each other. OK, Ruiz put the cat amongst the pigeons, but I suspect even he will join the circus of fights that folk what to see but won't.

  13. The Premier League is a soap opera. Ive probably watched 5 minutes of the Liverpool game and it was 6 minutes too much. Its just overhyped cowshit

  15. You know the situation with injuries. Were not blessed with decent creative replacements. The one change, had me concerned when I saw the team sheet. No natural width, dribbling skills nor killer passing. I'm sure hill can see the issue, not sure how much he can do to change it in terms of personnel.

  17. Professionals should turn up and give 100%. They get paid well enough. Sometimes it just doesn’t happen is my point but its no need for histrionics either. Or trotting our stats about who our opponents played last week. It’s irrelevant was my other point and yes it was dead in the ground and very cold indeed.

  18. For multiple reasons I don’t want this to happen. As a neutral City winning would mean 5 points separate the top four going into a manic December. I watched Leicester last night and I genuinely think these men aren’t going away

  19. Really disappointed by yesterday. Every year I’d love a cup run. Yet again I’m not 100% convinced the club think the same. Odd thing is the first 10 minutes I thought we were going to steam roll them.

  20. Since the final whistle yesterday some of the Reaction on here sums up a chunk of our support. every team is entitled to an off day. A shit performance. Lackluster and just shit. That was yesterday. We’ve had plenty over the past few years after all. last week after the fleetwood game mood was high. Talk of staying up and defying the odds. Now some are dragging up stats about our last opponents prior game in a different league which has absolutely zero fucking Effect on the result yesterday or our next game or at all and has no meaning on what we can or will achieve going forward. genuinely folk need to give their heads a right good wobble sometimes.

  21. I'd agree with that. As a specialist right back, I'd add Brian Borrows to the list.
