  3. I find just watching that premier league difficult, even my loathing of utd is tempered nowadays. That nonsense var shit as a lot to do with it, but all the players seem like tattooed nobs up their own arseholes, couldn't care if i didn't see another match.

  7. Favourite car i ever had was a Nissan 200SX. Loved that car even though going round a wet roundabout could be a little lively. Worse car was a Fiat Bravo. Everything that could've gone wrong did do. Never bought an Italian car since. ... well until a few weeks ago

  11. The deal was agreed in quick time, despite of Brexit and the uncertainty around it, which you people said wouldn't happen in the memory of man. We would be outcasts, the nation everybody would ignore, we would have foot shortages , army on the streets, deep economic recession etc. We are doing OK and will continue to do so despite your elongated sulking. Glad you enjoyed your Aberdeen Angus, must be the first time you've had it, as you haven't stopped fucking bleating about it😆

  12. Settling for the same ? That is just for starters you peasant whilst we save money and the EU starts to crumble as other members have to fork out more between less members in a very tough economic time at present. You simply don't comprehend the advantages which lie ahead for us, whilst "the lazy, backward traits of our EU counterparts" (your words fella) mean they stagnate and take eons for them to agree on one single deal due to what Goofy Guy stated the other week. You live in the past, I don't, I have vision, yours is fucked. I'll ask you this, how long did it take the EU to agree a deal with Canada ? Enjoy your research whilst I dine on some fine English produce. I take it you won't ever eat fish n chips again as it's so meaningless to you ?

  14. Many have decided for themselves and look where that's got us. Other places like Australia act quick and hard and strangely keep things under control locally. We have played at it in some ways; sorry but the idea of 'government control' is the stuff contrails and aliens. Nothing more than virus minimisation attempts. Not one government anywhere would deliberately seek to reduce the economic performance of the country, but merely taking measures as they see fit. Our methods of virus control have been similar to other Europe nations as you know, with largely similar results. Increasing pushback from their populations too. Perhaps folk with similar feelings to you could sign an agreement whereby you can carry on fairly normally, in selected pubs etc, but you must pay for your treatment for covid if infected?

  15. Santos and Delaney with Gilks behind them look so calm and composed, not only do they win the first ball they win the second, you can hear Gilks all the time. I go out on a whim and say based on them 3 staying fit we’ll have the best defensive record in the league

  17. If the pubs near me are open over xmas, temptation will get the better of me for sure. I know it’s hard, but there’s an end just around the corner. Why can’t we just show some blitz spirit for another 8 weeks and then we can be pretty much back to normal. We made other religions sit tight, I’m sure all us devoted, never-miss-Sunday-sermon Christians can do the same for the greater good.

  19. Tier 1 or 2 isn’t normality is it, I don’t think anyone has said go back to pre Covid life before Spring Kid yourself it’s 1 day all you want, for the economy it’s much much bigger than that, especially in the economic sectors hardest hit thus far, it really is make or break for many of them It’s fair enough asking those in the vulnerable groups to adhere to tier 3 for a few more weeks whilst those that aren’t vulnerable adhere to Tier 1 or 2 (dependant on local circumstances). I’m sure the majority of the vulnerable wouldn’t mind if it means protecting the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of families

  24. Suppose it's all opinions. I think people have and would respond more to clear, strict instructions. I'm not sure how you can have any authority to ask people to adhere to any restrictions ever again, if you arbitrarily decide that five days in December is more important. Ultimately - it's either a deadly pandemic worthy of unprecedented drastic action, or it isn't.

  32. He’s a class manager. Won way too much to be classed as anything else. Man city pulled 200 points in 2 seasons which is bangers on a 38 game season. I nearly self combust when we nearly did it on a 46 game season. I do think managers have their period though think wenger then Mourinho etc. Saying that I don’t think he’s finished yet.
