Exactly, it’s got nothing to do with it only lasting a couple of seconds, It’s about the Politics The politics of BLM fucking stinks, it shouldn't be anywhere near mainstream sport in Britain If it’s really not about supporting that political ideology then change the name, simple really3 likes

When England are away on internationals and the black players get booed it gets reported to UEFA as racist abuse. A protest for black equality where people kneel in solidarity, are then booed when displaying it will be seen in the same light. pull the other one if you think millwall fans were doing it because they were bored of it. And Ive said it before BLM is an incorrect association to the kneeling protests. Just like the closed raised fist is a symbol of oppression and solidarity that the black panther party adopted. Raising a fist doesn’t make you part of the black panther party. They aren’t mutually exclusive.2 likes

The booing is just a verbal protest If the BLM protests in the summer had stuck to verbal protests such as booing rather than vandalising statues and cenotaphs then perhaps the cause wouldn’t have been tainted as it has for many We all have a right to a verbal protest, done in a peaceful way. Nobody has the right to vandalise or decide what statues and cenotaphs should be standing. We live in a democracy, that stuff should be decided by elected officials, not an angry mob2 likes

It's overkill - we've already established racism isn't a problem over here, the likes of Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling earn about a combined £300m a week and get zero undeserved shit on account of their race. We've also ascertained Millwall's support are salt of the earth working class anti-marxist liberterians. Definitely not racist cunts, who on occasion let savagery usurp any racism when they unfurl Turkey flags. They for sure have no revolting old witches teaching kids barely out of nappies expletive laden partisan chants - the same kid must have picked up the phrase "you fucking black c*nts!" off the telly - Balamory or In the Night Garden or sommat. Defending fucking Millwall ffs. Biggest pile of scum south of the Auld Firm. Oh aye, it's impossible one is racist booing 'taking the knee' if nevertheless; one would fuck Thandie Newton, likes watching 'Dexter', has danced to the music of 'The Selector' or has cheered on Lennox Lewis...2 likes

I suppose the question is, the Millwall boo boys - racists or just sick to the back teeth of politically correct, social engineering, ramming down the throat of the opinions of the social media generation/outraged society conveyed by an organisation whose core raison d'etre is football. The rainbow laces bollocks a further example of nonsense from a footballing body. Concentrate on your core business and leave politics the fuck out of it FFS. Probably 5%-95% in favour of the latter - not racists but realists. It is everywhere. Just look at the advertisements on TV these days. We had an Aussie couple round for dinner the other night and the missus wanted to show them an episode of "A Place In The Sun" which happened to be all around the area we have connections with in Spain. Advertisement breaks pretty much featured every 'race' including mixed except what would traditionally be thought of as an 'indigenous Brit'. The female visitor asked "Are there any white people left in the UK these days?" (The bloke countered with "Nah, they've all bloody well come here!"). The cheeky fucker. Before any of our left wing marigolds start - I have consistently said on here that we Brits are 'Heinz 57' varieties after the various invasions and inter breeding over the centuries - natural selection coming to the fore as a possible reason why our tiny islands have had such an influence on the development of the world. I believe it was Sir Les Ferdinand who predicted weeks/months ago that all this contrived virtue signalling shite would probably be counter productive. Wise man (like Rudy).2 likes

The players aren’t even kneeling for the BLM political group apparently, they are doing it for anti racism. The fans aren’t booing anti racism, they are booing the political BLM group Time to strip the BLM element out of it, let kick it out take its place, keep the knee if needs be and folk want to continue it. The BLM brand is toxic for many, anti racism isn't an issue2 likes

Thing is with social media you don’t know who the clowns are on the other side. It could quite easily be a black united fan slagging pogba posing as a city fan. In the grounds there were a total of 35 arrests for race/hate crime. Considering there’s 10s of million of fans over a season it doesn’t really highlight a problem. (Though 35 is still to many)1 like

True though mate, it is getting drummed into people every day now. I for one am fucking sick of it. Countless Bolton players, especially the homegrown players have been given dogs abuse since I was going. But as soon as a black player is booed for basically being shit, folk start with the racist crap. Ask any Bolton player their best ever team, most of the players would be of colour or Europeans, Jay Jay, Youri, Ngotty, Ricardo. Most on here agree, the best person for the job.1 like

This is another typical social media post. Decide which parts/words suit what they want to post and ignore the whole. Doesn’t matter what the subject matter is; not confined to brexit nor what 'side' they're on. Then they get spread around like well informed individuals with real insight.1 like

The FA and PL should have done their research before they slapped BLM over every shirt. The BLM group is an awful association and not a true representation of getting equality and support for racist issues. The real issue has been clouded over and ironically caused more diversion. It’s kind of sad and upsetting that this is even an issue in this day in age we are even discussing it.1 like

when you say 'we', I assume you mean the politicos, not the populace ? I can't remember us ever having a vote (other than the 2016 referendum) on whether to be in a Eurpean poliitcal body rather than a trading block. I can't remember ever seeing a manifesto that stated they would join a European political body if elected to Government. So if by 'we' you mean me and you, then 2016 was the first chance we had a chance of being complicit in this, or not.1 like

I'd like to think so but if that's really the case, why have we got posters on here doing all sorts of mental gymnastics to justify booing a gesture that supports that very statement?1 like

No. They fucking started it all in moving away from a free trading agreement called the Common Market to a political union/federalised Europe with a group of faceless Brussels based bureaucrats pulling the strings. That's what was voted against - what they started.1 like

They are feckin suicidal on line. They were convinced that Parky's sacking was at the behest of mythical new owners wanting him cleared out before they rode valiantly through the gates slowed only by the weight of their wagons carrying gold & jewels. These new owners already had a manager sorted out. The suggestions were mostly established, Premier or prestigious European pot-winning names. Saviours to a man. None included Lee Johnson. He fits absolutely no-ones expectations and his arrival is not just disappointing for that but proves the new owners are just piss in the wind. Then they lose to fckg Wigan. 🤣😅1 like

A better and easier way to "keep the peace" would be not booing your own players for a 3-second gesture intended to promote racial equaity. As far as I'm concerned you have to be a bit of an oddball to be offended by that.1 like

Ok, let’s play that thinking through If it was a Nazi solute would it bother you? It would only take a few seconds! Of course the time involved isn’t the issue, the politics is It’s a symbol supporting a political group from the extreme left, who are anti capitalist amongst other things Fuck BLM However, if the players want to support kick it out ahead of each game in order to show support for anti racism then they can crack on1 like

Oh I know exactly what’s going on, this is a brutal negotiation, weakness will get us no where, that’s why we have to use every tool in our armoury, one of those being the threat to go WTO (walk away) its very possible that if we don’t we won’t get the very best deal.1 like

He went on The One Show. Any vestiges of credibility he had left have now left the building. He's now a sad shadow of what he used to be, and what he used to be was massively overrated. He was exciting for about 12 months around the same time Definitely Maybe came out. And his voice is deeply unpleasant to listen to. Not for me! 😁1 like
