    Dont blame Evatt whatsoever for changing it up, its why we have a sqaud. 8 games in a month etc. You cant account for conceding at set pieces. That's down to the players on the pitch and doing the basics. Just one of those nights. Be reet.

    Some snobby pitch cunts here. We literally had that pitch in the prem in the early years. Probably the reason we got decent results off some of the big teams.

    Bolton never settled, mainly due to the pitch. Completely change our outlook on the game. Longer than we normally play. Even at 2-0 down, get the next goal and it changes things. Move on.

    Take out the mad 10 mins and we’ve been the better team, despite being a bit crap. Nothing major to worry about, no panic for Wimbledon, just one of those days. Oh and the ref is a fucking shambles as always.

    Not really. 2 point behind us. If you had to play on that pitch at home you'd be taking advantage of it. Evatt has tried gaming it with the two big men up top but when you can't defend for shit in the air you get battered.

    Dempsey seemed to grow into it a bit more on Saturday, thought he played better when Dapo came on and Morely went off so he dropped deeper. The game seemed to pass him by more in the advanced 'Lee' position

    I did ask the same question but the woman in ticket office shrugged her shoulders in a ‘go find someone who gives a fuck’ manner. Obviously, it’s fuck all to do with her so it was pointless interrogating her. I’ve heard an old gaffer of mine, Malcolm Stocks, is now one of the ground safety managers. He used to be Chief Steward at City. I’ll eventually speak to him.

    Just phoned for an update. All good. The nurse who answered the call told me the cordless phone on the ward is broken so she’s unable to take the phone to my mum. Nurse then took a note of my number and next thing, she’s FaceTiming me from her own mobile so tonight I’ve seen my mum for the first time in a week. Proper above and beyond the call of duty.
