Reading twitter comments (I know), you’d think they’ve just signed Roberto Carlos. Very strange how every so often a player gets overly praised, and then it becomes some kind of wankathon as to who can go the furthest. I listened to a game on 5 live the other day, think it was Southampton-Liverpool, and I swear he didn't get one whole sentence out without saying "To be fair". When the match finished and they were summarising, he actually said To Be Fair 3 times in one sentence. I was embarrassed for him and the commentator, they must be dieing to tell him to just stop it.

Efan Ekoku on the EPL TV co-commentaries is top notch. Matter of fact, knowledgable and not prone to screeching and shouting to emphasise his "passion" for the sport. Nice to hear One Andy Walker now and again too.
