I would like to place on record a massive thank you to all you Bolton fans who came to Chorley today I'm. The club didn't think you would turn up in the numbers you did. You were a really good crack and enjoyed your stories outside the club ,in the Duke of York and in town. Good on you for such a large support, I hope you have really enjoyed your day at our little non league ground. Thank you BWFC Supporters6 likes

Hi everyone @royal whitehas introduced me to this forum so thanks for that mate. I think a few of you already know about my next fight, but if not I would just like to introduce myself. My name is Alex Murphy, I'm 21 years old and I'm 3-0 as a professional boxer but most importantly I've been a Bolton fan for my whole life, my next fight is at our stadium in the premier suite on the 30th July which is an absolute dream come true for me. I'd love to get the whole club behind me for this next fight and for the rest of my career, you can message me for any info. I really appreciate all the support I've already had from the fans and look forward to hopefully meeting more of you soon.2 likes

Hahaha no it won't be him then but I would have seen him before I'm sure. I agree with you, Connor Benn looks like he has the potential to be world class but needs testing a lot more to prove that. I think he's been managed really well in terms of fighting the right people at the right time. I can't imagine him beating the likes of Crawford or Spence any time soon but he's still young so could prove to be that level in years to come. I was at his last fight live and he's very entertaining to watch, very explosive and seems to be adapting a Mike Tyson style. It'll be interesting to see where he goes with his career.1 like

Do you know, as much as the knobs are knobs at times, I love it I know I was a pain in the arse back in the day. Some might say I still am. I love our support having an edge, other teams envy us big time when we tip up at their gaffs.1 like

I'm at Ipswich that day but will keep my eye open for future fights. I love the local scene. Watched Tyson Fury in his 2nd or 3rd pro fight against a German lad in Wigan, knew he'd be a world champ that night. Seen loads of the old local lads on these shows - Moorsey, Jennings, Murray brothers, Quigg, Alex Matvienko etc. Here's to another one to add to the list. Is Paul Booth MC on your events? I've known him since I was 5 so if he is, I'll prob end up at a few fights away from the area1 like

Constantly booting off, and it wasn't so long ago that he essentially gave up I'm a match and didn't try because he couldn't be arsed. Robbing spectators of their money- a twat. Hope Tsitsipas mullers him from now on.1 like

Royal White is the only board member allowed to use that analogy. Sounds fucking ridiculous coming from a middle aged textile salesman. No offense like.1 like

We've "missed" out on Tucker, Fossey, now Bark... probably a couple more too that I'm missing. That being said can't say I'm arsed about it. Tucker obviously wanted to stay down south, Fossey/Fulham/Agent pushing for more than initially agreed, Bark was pissing everybody about & probably was promised a bigger wage than Evatt was willing to give in to to. All move on now, see who pops up & fits into our philosophy. Not sure about a striker who was talked about playing as a wing back like Bark was for us.1 like

I agree about the squad I like the look of it and I think we're strong especially in midfield. Iles mentioned on his podcast that he thinks Evatt might be looking for some more pace to bring in up front and another defender. I'm excited for this season and think we'll go well. Probably going to end up going far into the pizza cup as well I reckon.1 like

I’ve just got my 6 year old playing rugby league (he didn’t enjoy football the weirdo) what a refreshing change watching that at grassroots compared to football. Completely different attitudes from the spectators with a brilliant all round atmosphere.1 like

After 57 days my Ukrainian guests have left. 46 mum, 17 lad It's been one hell of an experience living with strangers from another country and also very challenging. We paid for their flights over and picked them up from Bristol Airport. Gave them our en suited bedroom, sorted out bank accounts, phones, biometrics, doctors and English lessons. Manged to help 14 of their friends from Kiev come over and settle close by. Helped both gets jobs without even having interviews. Got them a car so we didn't have to ferry them around everyday. We've took them on holiday with us over May half-term and included them in our social activities. I gave them access to everything I own and have built up over many years including my circle of friends and connections. Sadly the one thing I couldn't do for them is host their daughter/sister who is due to come over sometime next month. I don't have another spare bedroom and this caused unrest and they seemed to be insluted by my decision. On Monday I was informed by the council that my guests were looking for a larger property to accommodate 3 of them. Was told it could take 2 months for them to relocate. This last week has been unbelievably difficult living in the same house as them, it started to effect my daughter in a negative way so last night I told them to leave. I've done my best to support two people I didn't know. I've received one payment of £350 from the council. It's cost me money and a shit load of my time. So now it's time to lookafter my own family and not somebody else's.1 like
