  1. I dare say the BWRG can help, I'll send you a DM Cambridge 👍

  2. Maybe Dundee & Dundee United. I know they're on the same street. As an alternative, if you look through the North West corner gap at Stokes's ground you can see the 1950's.

  3. Thank you everyone, genuinely really appreciate your feedback. Thinking about it, when she was sectioned last May, it was probably the most relieved and relaxed I’ve seen my dad since pre-Covid. She was kept in Fairfield for almost 2 months and although he went visiting almost daily, not having the burden of care looked like a huge weight off his shoulder, even physically/visually. Feel for you @RoadRunnerFan. Wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy. She’s been assessed and has a carer in twice a day but she very rarely leaves the house. At the minute her medications giving her headaches daily so spends full days in bed and then she she’s not, she’ll sit in an armchair on her iPad and that’s about it. We’ve tried the memory cafes and support groups but it distresses her just having the neighbours see her. They live in Bury so I may well look for an equivalent. Sounds like our old men are cut from exactly the same cloth. He’ll be grafting till the day he drops. Unfortunately I was an only child and the only family she has is a sister who’s wheelchair bound so isn’t much help (as much as she tries to be). A couple of my mums friends have really stepped up to share the load in fairness but the vast majority is handled by my dad and then myself. I’ve mentioned the idea of working a day or two less a while ago but it was met frostily. I’ll re-approach that topic this week I think as being cold and realistic, she’s only going to deteriorate. Thank you again gents (and ladies(?))

  4. It's really not that shit, no one is saying it's Venice but the inverted snobbery of just dismissing it altogether is a bit poor from Boltonians. Also did anyone try the free Octogan kids weekend or the museum? My youngest loved them both.

  19. 😂Classic stuff that. There was nothing sinister about top secret documents being found at Trumps house last month or inciting supporters to storm parliament or denying the election result. Biden speech on democracy was sinister though🥱

  20. You are a very patient man. In my experience, denying attention seekers the oxygen of controversy is a wise course.

  21. As an aside, and talking about presidents (sic), I wonder if the original news article or reports from the hearing could help @Dr Faustus and others in a similar situation. A lot is made of past-precedence in law.

  25. It's poor that, I know loads of families/kids that would love to go. Michael Williams Trust gives us 6 free season tickets a year which is great. They are tickets on the front row of NSL

  29. Some of these are a bit over-technical, but this is interesting & readable. Any of the gobbins who are still shouting " geddit forward" or "geddit in the box" or this season shouting "shoot" the moment we cross the half way line, should be nailed to a bench & forced to read this until they have some understanding of what's going on.
