  4. I heard one of a undertaker who was on call and was called out to pick up a deceased body. He decides to get his Wanderers shirt and jeans on and go straight to the game after his job. He gets in work, he quickly gets changed into his suit and leaves his clothes on a chair in the locker room. When he arrived back a hour or so later his clothes were gone, so he asked a colleague where they are and he said "I've just dressed Mr X in them, I thought the family had brought them in for him" The undertaker then undressed MrX and went straight to the game 😆

  5. and wtf is the issue with loan players who do you think we are our chances of getting a goal machine are much higher in the loan market if we signed full time a goal machine, he would be gone in 6 months anyway we are in no position to sign exceptional players 'long term'

  11. One of the best nights of my life. Wingates was the capital of Bolton at the time n a large gang of us went in greenys van, did a lap of the ground before the game bantering with Micky mousers and they didn’t want to know, same on the pitch, they didn’t want to know and we hammered them, result never in doubt. if I’m ever in a comma then just show me that pic n it’ll bring me round.

  12. What a ridiculous era. I'd never really thought about it in these terms before but 7 games in 2 seasons against Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal and Villa, scored at least 2 in every game except Villa, drew 3, won 4! Throw in the 8th game at Wolves, another 2 goals and another win. Still find it hard to believe. I went to all 8 and it was the best 2 years of my life watching Bolton, especially given that the small matter of promotion was thrown in. If it was now I don't think I'd have the energy for it!

  13. Did a summer with a pal who was joiner when I was 16, was doing a kitchen refit. Fitted everything and I got asked to do the handles on the cupboard doors. Instructions were to fit them them at the top right of the doors. So I did. Used a stepladder for the wall units. Proper proud if done a good job, until the old dear pointed out she couldn’t reach the handles.

  20. If it is true then I believe this would be the exciting signing. There is no issue with that, we need goals, this kid looks potent and quick if he comes and fires us out of this league then who cares if it is a loan. We can sort champ recruitment in the summer if necessary, and with traf City are showing they trust is with their talent, so if he comes, plays well and we go up then a loan extension is likely

  26. Immunisation in having chance of side effects shock. Of course there must be financial protection for those who are unfortunate enough to be affected, but it's as if the disease isn't/wasn't a killer. Sick of every cunt moaning about shit. If you don't want it, don't have it.

  30. As a UGA fan i love him, not sure he's NFL calibre but who knows there's been many a highly lauded QB not make it and plenty of under the radar choices go on to have very good careers. That said if a team wanted to play the same way as the 49ers he'd be perfect. Or he'd make a solid back up for teams like the Ravens or Cards where their mobile QB is often injured.

  35. This is the conundrum. I'd love to be able to take Junior for a first visit to Wembley, but I'd prefer it to be in the play-offs. I believe that all cup finals should take place in May after the season ends.
