  2. Really pissed off. Missed out. I’ve done every game of this comp, even the away at Tranmere. Off to London this weekend to watch us. But no priority given for that loyalty. It’s wrong

  4. You should have to show proof you want to the earlier games at home, to get tickets. Bandwaggon jumping bell ends.....

  6. Yes - I can just see nurses on the ward scrabbling around for their Cheese approved book of NHS code words. And if you used a couple of letters and a couple of letters of the alphabet then either the nurse or the patient's family would inevitably forget it. And then a family really might have something to complain about. The idea is that it's something quick and simple that the patients family and the care worker can easily remember. Like banana. And thanks for playing the lack of compassion card! When you've sat and offered comfort to hundreds of grieving relatives, or supported countless conversations where you're breaking the news to someone they are going to die, or you've sat holding someone's hand and watched them slip away after you've switched off their oxygen because there's nothing left you can do to help, then I'll take criticism from you about compassion 🙏

  8. When you throw into this that his predecessor Liam Richardson was sacked within weeks of signing a new 3 year deal less than 3 months ago - that's an awful lot of compensation to ex managers racked up inside the last 3 months Then you think about players wages paid late 3 times, FA Sanctions now in place and having to deposit money into a separate designated bank account and the story in the press that the owner wants to sell up this surely has all the makings of administration all over again ?

  9. Crowds across the board have been good this season some clubs like us are taking good numbers, maybe it’s one off season as you’d think the cost of living would bite think last season we had 12 away sell outs this not as much but plenty of fuck abouts with fixtures/travel, but our support is on the up for me something should be implemented

  10. The meltdown today has been pretty impressive. The fact it’s for a game in Accrington for a Leyland Daf match makes it truly spectacular. Some of our fans are utter potatoes

  12. Introduce priority windows and that one sorts itself out. City have it pretty much nailed on that front. Gives you notice to get something sorted within a certain timeframe, and presumably isn’t at 18-24 hours notice.

  15. Fleetwood also sold out in seconds this year so this ain't the first time this season . If demand out strips demand there is always going to be a group of people who miss out, the whole point of a loyalty scheme is to make that process 'fairer' or at least more transparent. Your argument seems to be cost but why introduce the membership scheme if we are not going to use it for something like this too ? All of a sudden today the queue was introduced...why ? Why were so many people logged on early in queues ? Did some people get told by mates there was a different process today ?

  17. The iron bridge set up is better. The blists hill town, interacting actors, practical workshops, proper chippy (done with dripping) and a real ale boozer. Even fish lounging around in the clean canal. If you want something more rustic in Durham, get down the killhope lead mine. Spa boxes and reconstruction of living quarters, walks into the woods to see red squirrels, and evidence of old workings- the "hushing" technique. Also have a go at panning for the stuff. Seasonal opening though.

  28. Went on at 9.45am and surprised to see a queue system and was 1400 in the queue by the time I got on at 1008am there were no tickets left.Been to every away this season except Port Vale,Lincoln and Derby. Does that make me a super fan not really we’re all fans at the end of the day. Bit gutted but more important things in life. Fans talking about a priority system. I personally wouldn’t be in favour of that. I normally get an away ticket for my daughter who lives in London for the long away games like Charlton by using a friend’s ref number who doesn’t go to the away games so personally rather take my chances when they go on sale. TBH I normally get the away tickets I want just wasn’t quick enough today and should have gone on at 9am to get in a queue that I didn’t know existed before today.

  30. You should look at that away scheme for next season if you're planning to do a similar number again, it's ideal for you really. Can return a total of 5 unwanted ones to the club for no charge over the course of the season, never any booking fee or postage fee etc. No-one can really arsed thinking about it when it's advertised in June or whenever and in truth I wouldn't be either if it wasn't for this particular season, but really seen the benefits of it especially for these smaller grounds that show up how much of a mess our normal ticketing system is.

  31. Went again last summer to visit family/bit of a holiday. We stayed in a cottage near Chester-Le-Street as we had the kids, was lovely and perfect for what we needed. Lovely for a couple of nights, take a boat trip, tour of the Catherdral, some nice bars and places to eat - but it is very small. Our best trip out was to Beamish which is a full day trip and totally worth it. Shopping is a bit rubbish - bit like Bolton, loads has closed down as out of town retail has taken away most of the shops to an outlet near Pity Me and the uni has bought up a lot of the property (much to the annoyance of the locals) but the market is worth a mooch round ( found an old Bolton programme in a dusty old bookshop with a very funny interview with Peter Reid) Basically, you'll have wandered round in a few hours. The Durham Dales are very pretty if you like a walk.

  42. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64407850 Left wing biased MSM confirms @royal white figures shocker! Everyone start growing their hair out and washing their own cars. Soon have them scurrying back to hotels "Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick told MPs that of the 4,600 child asylum seekers without an adult who had arrived the UK since 2021, 440 had gone missing and only half had returned. He told MPs that 13 of those who are missing are under 16 and one is female. The Home Office says almost nine in 10 unaccompanied children in Home Office-approved hotels are Albanian males who claim to be 16 to 17 years old"
