  1. Also....all this money thats come into City & Chelsea and soon to be Newcastle. Look at what those owners have done to the community and area around those grounds....its real infastructure and economical growth...thats all real. In my book thats much better than what Glaziers and FSG have done by just milking the over-seas fans of those clubs. Their money is no greener.

  2. I got your be kind point. Maybe you should have said #bekind. Anyone unsure, look up the meaning. Lots of hypocrisy on here. A sensitive subject that should apply across all threads on here, not just this one.

  4. Had bad vibes earlier in the week a la @tomskibut for some reason now feeling properly confident. Rico will have that big fucker in his pocket again and Dion will definitely bag a double. 3-1 💪🏻

  7. My trip involves train travel on 3 different days but a strike on any one of those days fucks everything up but you only get a refund for the day of the strike. I've lost out on previous strikes when some trains were booked for & still running but no use because connections were on strike !!!

  10. Ha. Deal with this shit day in day out in sales management. Totally meaningless. Massive distortion due to the dip. Needs all sorts of comparators. Need far more than one graph. Hands up I’ve done this plenty of times to deflect the flak over the years but sometimes you take what you can and have to be prepared for when folk with any sort of common sense rip it apart. May actually be a good news story but pinning a story on that graph is a bit silly - note, I haven’t read any back articles as I’m not on Twitter so may be being harsh. But I doubt it somehow. When you’re in the shit you push out anything that looks like good news. As said I’ve done it for years. 😁

  15. Yea this is key. Problem with the prem is everyone points the finger at other clubs, nobody can take the moral high-ground. I think over 10 teams have broke FFP or Prem Sustainability rules over last few years, and another 4/5 are currently being inveestigated. Almost every club has also been done for cheating in recruiting young players too, or other ways of cheating. Its rife, and its because of the prize money and instant need for success, driven by foreign investors and foreign social media fans. Its horrible & the sooner it collapses, the better.

  16. I hate phone calls. One of my biggest annoyances is when I text someone they ring back. Or if someone rings they dont leave message or simply text in the first place. Fuck off ringing me.

  18. No. we are growing more than the others but it’s only because our economy got so bad that any growth would appear amplified. Dont spoil their day.

  19. Am I missing something re this economic miracle? 😁 Reading the articles - most seem to be saying we narrowly avoided a recession (welcome news but not anything to shout about) - and that if we had record levels of growth, it's because we had record levels of loss the year before. So on balance - we're returning to the mean? Have I missed something?

  22. MPs are getting 2.9%, which to me looks like a shithousing manoeuvre, so that the Govt highlight the "unions' greed" in asking for more. The fact is that MPs are getting a £2,500 rise without having to compromise on working conditions etc and certainly isn't performance related. Most people who have been striking would have settled for a similar rise with no clauses. Why not tell MPs they can have their rise, but a third of them are being axed and we'll run with 430 MPs.

  23. Oops, 🥴 Clumsy of me that, I wish they just leave the lines in the same place on all the charts. In fairness several of the graphs show support for certain types of murders which is what I said previously but apologies on that one, use do better!!

  27. went to the 3 in the PL era, but not the others nothing stands out with the second two, but 01 was the one hadn't done many aways in the previous PL seasons due to uni, so was all over as many as possible this time round had been to OT a few weeks earlier for England V Greece but didn't particulary enjoy it, just kept thinking about the forthcoming visit in the league thought we'd get bummed in town early doors, think it was Yates on Portland Street about 11am well oiled by time we got in perfect angle for Nolan's goal going in, right behind it all the way Rickett's goal seem to go in in slow motion escort back to Deansgate was stop start because Utd lads kept appearing every few hundred yards trying to steam in at one point they stopped us outside the Pomona pub which was full of Utd who were all banging on the windows gesturing and all that, thought of which always reminds me of: the mind plays tricks and the memory is hazy but it did seem like about 20 lads were pressed up against the window going mad anyway, we get to deansgate and the cops won't let us go anywhere but on the platform, regardless of the fact we weren't going back to bolton as lived in manc, twats as for the near wins conceeding to Utd in injury time like in 03 was one thing, but going 2-1 up in injury time to only then concede was gutting as said already, by the time we did win under Megson, it felt like an anti climax

  30. No it’s 2 caps for either home or away now. in answer @Big E this membership cycle would be pretty difficult as everyone wants to ensure they’ll get at the higher end of the caps table to ensure tickets for Germany Euros they still do the 70/30% split so 30% of any allocation goes in a ballot and everyone not successful in getting one first goes in that ballot regardless of whether you’ve just missed the cut off or on 0 caps highest cap total is considerably lower than usual. Max you can have at the min is 28 (based on all games from the past 2 years) as the 2 years before that were written off cos of Covid but there’s a few thou on each number. So once I renew I’ll be on 25 but there’s still a good 4k ahead of me. best option is to do all the homes, build the caps and eventually you’ll get to a number where you could get tickets in the euros as our allocation will prob be around 10k per game
