I could have broken the rules in a small and specific way I suppose. Could have wandered in to the care home and spread Covid to every resident and potentially killed the lot, but I just wanted to see my mum so it’s not selfish. She was confused and scared and a cuddle would have probably really helped. But no, rules were rules. I shouted at her through a window trying to explain what was going on assuring her I wasn’t just avoiding her and leaving her to it. I stuck to the fucking rules. And I’d like to think that just maybe I saved a few lives by doing so, even at massive and eternal regret for me, my mum and my family. So no. Fuck off. Fuck Boris fucking Johnson and fuck anyone who didn’t have to put up with anything more horrid than wearing a mask and cleaning a fucking shopping trolley with hand gel. I won’t be forgiving the fat bumbling cuntlump and I hope he ends up living in the back of Ford Fiesta.6 likes

The problem with online forums is you don't have that visual.....ya know the sort, you'll be enjoying a pre-match or half time pint with ya best mate talking girls n wanderers and some demic will drift in to your zone with his chicken pie covered in warm mayonnaise froffin at the mouth and eyeballing you for interaction.....you and best mate feel its presence but don't offer eyes to the zombie in the hope it drifts on by to some other unfortunate soul. Still, the dawn of the dead extra refuses to budge and blurts out some rubbish in attempt to engage you in you're free sacred hours at the match, your sanctuary from work, wives kids and the blind dog that now toilets indoors......"bloody shit that, we don't know what we're doin do we, evatt clueless, we'll never win league drawin 0-0 against sheff wed" etc. You and mate give each other the nod, smash the two thirds of your remaining pints in three gulps and shuffle on to spend the second half bloated with stomach cramps..... Well anyway. What I'm getting at is on a forum you naturally expect people on your wavelength to a point......but, appears that zombies have found out how to use computers3 likes

Baffles me why people always want to be the first posting about these things. Have some respect for the family and keep quiet.2 likes

I think at this point our focus just needs to be on the team in 7th place, 2nd is out of the question now, we have had plenty of opportunities and we've fell short. We're making great progress having only come up 2 seasons ago, first season was stability, second was top 6, next year I think autos from the start. Personally whether it's 3rd or 6th it doesn't really matter too much imo, Ipswich wouldn't be any harder than facing Derby for example. 10 games left, let's just get as many points as we can, secure top 6, have a great day out at Wembley and bring back a trophy. Then we go for it in the playoffs, whoever we face, it's a lottery.2 likes

Charles and Santos superb for us yesterday. got to be scoring in that 10 mins after half time and then they have to gamble. I was annoyed possibly more with the performance, but at 5 o clock given the other results it wasn’t that bad huge week next week with 3 big fixtures. mr bobic………..1 like

And with the emotion of the winning tap in Vs accy a side, relying on Kachunga to come change our game is also affecting us. There's a couple of players that are not good enough for us to try and get in the championship e.g. Sheehan, Williams etc. But Kachunga would the first one out the door for me. Whether he starts or comes on, he adds absoutely nothing, just throws himself to the floor and strops about. Yesterday he received the ball in a highly promising counter attacking position and miss controlled it, killing the attack. Him getting abuse however is just not on, but that doesn't mean we can't criticise his poor performances. 2 league goals in 70, we won't be going up with that. Surely with Evatt and the mass amount of data and study he does on players he knows that too. And I hope he's only playing him only because he has to as there's no one else. Which also begs the question, what about our youngsters? We are at a pivotal point in the season, but we haven't had any young players come through for a long time. Can they be much worse than Kachunga?1 like

I had tickets for Everton away 2004 when my lad was born on same day at 10-30, told my mates to pick me up 1pm at Chorley hospital, when they duly arrived, decided reluctantly not to go… was a close call though 🤣think being up since 2am when wife’s waters broke swung it. Best sleep ever that afternoon.. and we lost 3-2.1 like

Couldn’t you try appealing to your clients’ sense of fair play? Write them a letter saying how all your suppliers have upped their prices and, whilst you realise a contract is in place, in order to avoid a large jump in prices at the beginning of the next contract, you feel a mid-contract increase may avoid this.1 like

Marvellous post 🤣 Fortunately, from my experiences, the large majority on here are the folk that you would be happily chatting and having a pint with, not the zombies spitting their pie at you.1 like

It was that particular thought that was dangling the hospitality option for this one as I bet it’ll be double the price for the play offs (and relatively few middle tier tickets) but there’s no guarantees we’ll be back1 like

For a short time it seemed possible.Rioch's 3rd Division team won 14 of their last 17 to finish second, Evatt's needed to win 13 of their last 16. As it turned out Evatt's signings weren't as good and they weren't as well managed...being tired in league matches due to targetting the Freight Rover ffs Also will people stop saying the play offs are a lottery where each team has an equal chance of winning. They definitely aren't that.1 like

Well we haven't beaten any of those teams at home, I get your point we most likely have a better chance at home as we even worse against the top teams away. But we are going to have to improve either way. Most likely is that either Derby, Sheff Weds, Plymouth, Ipswich would beat us at their place and then make it very hard for us 2nd leg at home. This is a pessimistic way of looking it, however its also more of a realistic look.1 like

That's my thought, can't justify 2 x Wembley trips and I can't see us getting automatic promotion. I've not been to any of the pspa John's matches so far.1 like

We just aren’t very good at the moment, you can point to a number of different technical reasons as to why, but we’re just not clicking. It doesn’t help that we have a few poor players in the team at the moment (Sheehan and Mbete from the starting line up and then Kachunga and Williams coming on) because it means there’s added pressure on the good players and a few of them have been a bit out of form over the past couple of games (Toal, Morley to an extent, Bradley). I’d love to know why Lee didn’t come on today, he is in a different stratosphere to Kachunga and could have actually done something to win us the game - which Kachunga was never going to do. In the end there’s no huge damage due to other results, and a point away from home is never a bad result, but we could really do with snapping out of this run of poor performances before it does cause us some problems.1 like
