  1. Funny this, ive seen a few nominating me and it is nice and is genuinely appreciated, but I'm not going to start celebrating yet there's a maximum of 8 games left and if I miss one then the whole thing has been pointless. I'd vote for the kids, even if they did nearly deafen me on that bus to Shrewsbury constantly screaming Bolton songs! There's lots of reasons and motivations behind why I wanted to do this and why I chose this season but I'm not in it for any awards... and I definitely ain't going to go to any ceremony if I somehow won it over the Argentinean lot 😂 To think that a year ago I was just assuming this 100% thing was going to be mildly difficult. It has been proper epic, ace, horrible, expensive, life affirming. Never again.

  6. Have you recovered from your 7-0 twatting at Anfield yet Roger? What an enjoyable little interlude that was.

  7. The problem with Wigan is the fans. They are like the new kid on the block that is desperate to be part of the gang but goes about it in the wrong wsy Their hatred of us is ingrained. It is passed on from old to young and part of the club's DNA. That bit i would have no issue with if they had any respect. They don't they are classless fucking scrotes . The club has no history apart from its recent glory and it shows in how they behave. Generations of my family have been white my seventy year old uncle has tales to tell about the wanderers that his dad told him.Wigan fans have none of that. We might have a rivalry with other old Lancashire clubs but there is a mutual respect and that comes from our shared histories. Wigan have nothing and they are nothing. Wigan can get to fuck

  8. Whoever wins, it’s great to see those kids lovin’ it - the future of Bolton support.

  9. These are the people that churn out 20, 25 aways season after season spending fortunes and not just jumping on official travel to do it either. It ain't no one off for them.

  10. Either way. Heartwarming stuff. We’re all here for the same reason at the end of the day, and despite our occasional differences, we’re the best shower of cunts in the country. All winners.

  11. Their parents should be winning it Good idea though plugging though Baz, the kids would be buzzing. I've not even seen this anywhere as Im not a facebook nonce but @Marc505has to be up there along with @radcliffe whiteand his gang. Bit of a daft award though imo as it's generally down to personal circumstance. Some fuckers get weekends off, plenty of dough and an understanding or no wife. Think we'd all go every game if we could.

  12. I've already nominated @Marc505 to the club. For someone who doesn't drive to get to every game home and away including PJT in a season blighted by train strikes during a cost of living crisis is exceptional. No disrespect to those kids, but they're getting taken to the games, Marc's doing it under his own steam.

  13. And for reasons nobody understands, they think Micky D is amazing. He's like their unofficial leader. 10000000_6142543632458465_4393248976438122280_n.mp4

  16. Definite red. If Trafford doesn't bring him down he gets to the ball in the area comfortably, with just one defender between him and the goal. It's nice for a bad decision to go in our favour though.

  17. Given the circumstances today and that back 3, a win is a really good result with the other results going for us. If there was one game to sit deeper and defend a lead it was this one.

  18. Come on get with the programme, opinions on individual or collective performance aren't allowed, just look at the result.

  19. No doubt in my mind, straight red. That was my initial feeling and if this was the other way around and their keeper did that to Charles I would've been livid that there wasn't a red card

  21. Sheff weds dominated their game today and played some decent football. I wish we’d done that instead of winning.

  26. I can’t believe we’re winning with MJ in the side. Surely the EFL need to look into this. Can they reverse a result if a player the fans don’t like ends up on the winning side? Seems the only fair way to do things.

  27. What for ? a. Denying a obvious goalscoring opportunity (which he wasnt, as the ball was going towards the corner flag, with a covering defender). or b. Dangerous/reckless challenge ? They are the only 2 things he could be sent off for, and I'm not sure it ticks either box.

  30. Just waiting for my flight home from Spain, the eldest lads team have been playing in a tournament over here “the Barcelona experience” and what an experience it was for them (and the parents) a few days in Barca taking in a game and doing the tour, then a couple of days playing in the tournament (which they won) followed by a couple of days at Portaventura and Ferrari world. A great few days for those involved with football if you have ever thought about it.

  31. Locality matters, as does a bit of mutual respect or otherwise, a bit of 'history', plus, opportunity. We, currently, have little opportunity to feel like rivals to Everton so they're just that perennial Premiership stragglers who it's about time went down. We've barely played Blackpool or Preston recently. Preston I'll always recall being helpful to us in our darkest time. Our views of Bury were always tempered by not playing them that much ... a situation not likely to change ... and it being a rather one-sided dislike. We saw them as noisy upstarts. I suspect Stretford feel that way with us, sadly. Wigan, a new rivalry, geography based and the behaviour of their locals exacerbates this. Tranmere, are another example of a short term rivalry made worse by gobby fans & a gobby manager. Hopefully gone for good. Salford could replace that if they eventually ever get their act together. They come & go. But we'll always be Bolton.

  32. We need at least one of Kachunga, MJ or Shoretire in the side or some fans are going to be struggling tomorrow 🤣
