A Brexiter calling other people "zealots" because they want to Leave a Union of countries... 😂2 likes

I think you and I have a similar opinion of Thomason. I also rate him and think he has potential to go further in the game. I’ve got a few genuine questions for the doubters. And I’m open to the fact that watching live behind the goal may give a very limited perspective and there might be things I didn’t see. But apart from his glaring miss and a few misplaced passes in the 2nd half (1st half I thought he was the best player on the pitch!) what did he do yesterday that deserves criticism? His desire and energy was everything we needed yesterday. He’s relentless in carrying out his defensive midfield duties. Having him and MJ in that centre spine yesterday offered us some real leadership and direction. One thing that you have a better perspective of watching live is seeing what they do off the ball. They never stopped talking and organising and giving out bollockings when needed. I thought he was the right player for the right game yesterday.2 likes

I don't get the stick any of our lot get to be honest. We don't have any bad players any more. None are patch on plenty we've had in the recent past in terms of shitness2 likes

@DazBob 👀🤣 Cant disagree, he was really good yesterday. His positioning, interceptions, distribution and leadership were valuable yesterday. We know his faults and limitations. But credit where it’s due, he’s filling in well in that position so far.2 likes

I don't think we can say the turd has flushed even if they get relegated I'm afraid. I am sure we were saying it on the two fairly recent occasions when they were relegated from the Championship. It turned out that the turd stubbornly reappeared in the pan. In my view the turd has flushed when they are safely cemented for keeps in the lower reaches of League 1, in League 2 or best of all in the National League. That's where they belong - with no route back in to the top two divisions as a result of having a shit fanbase, a tinpot set up and minus any significant final backing to make them look much bigger than they actually are. The signs look good so far, but there's a way to go. #believe1 like

Bollocks to that. After Cotterill's moaning last year, they deserve a hostile reception. We also need to get the atmosphere up and posititve for our team. Give Wilbraham a clap afterwards. Only if we have won.1 like

You tend to find that people who said "I don't care about the economy as long as we leave!" before the referendum, and in the run up to us actually leaving, now perform incredible mental gymnastics in order to deny Brexit has had any negative impact on the economy whatsoever. It's like when people get scammed, but are too embarrassed to admit it.1 like

'Enjoy' is a ropey word to use pal! I'm already anxious for Saturday, never mind thinking about actually being in the playoffs...1 like

We are never going to compete with DMB or Liverpool. City have blown apart the status quo. It winds them and their cult followers in the media off the clock. I think its ace.1 like

For me, this year's Champions League has delivered a massively underwhelming set of quarter final second legs. Could happily not have bothered with any of this week's matches. I suspect this is what a European Super League would be like. Feel like I've already seen all of these matches many times before.1 like

What had me scratching my head last night was the number of times MJ had time and space on the edge of his own area, only to pass it back to Trafford.1 like

Shrewsbury have more injuries than us but Ryan Bowman and Tom Flanagan were suspended for today's game with Argyle and will be back in the side at the weekend - unfortunately for us. Argyle struggled to break them down as Shrewsbury defended en masse and the Janners were relieved to grab a 96th minute winner. They've gone down the pan in recent weeks with injuries and suspensions decimating their squad but they're slowly getting stronger again and won't be a pushover - although some Shrews fans reckon their players heads aren't right as they have nothing to play for. Still they had Argyle bricking it, didn't they GG I reckon they're there for the taking, but we really do have to take our chances this time.1 like
