  1. Dont think anyone holding a placard should be arrested but Ill never be able to grasp why people care so much about things. Some folk mustn't have any other pressing issues in life whatsoever. Imagine me telling the wife today Im not working today, I'm driving down to London to hold a sign up saying not my king. What a bunch of fucking losers. Same applies for tossers queuing up all week to wave to some fat fingered nonce in a gold carriage. Folk need to get a grip.

  5. No more than they deserve. They bring it on themselves. No one shafts, Gloucester, Hull, Lincoln .... name your city of choice. Because they don't piss & moan and play the victim at every opportunity despite normally having caused the problem themselves. Factories & Offices close there because they see working and co-operating, a bit of honest graft as a failure. Let's take a footballing example. Suggest a return to standing areas & they scream 'Hillsborough' from the rooftops (oddly, never 'Heysel' but that's another story I guess). But if you look at any match at their shit-hole stadium & virtually every red wanker there is stood up. This, in case you're confused, is because they're unmitigated wankers.

  6. They have an airport within 10/15 miles of the centre - if they hate the country so much, why don't they fuck off on a 1 way ticket?

  14. Tbf Liverpool, several areas of Scotland and I dare say plenty of others that are much closer to us were truly fucked over. Managed decline was the phrase, wasn’t it? Scousers are the same as everyone else. Good and bad. The fact that LFC have become a poor man’s Celtic striving for political causes that only exist for 90 minutes is all pretty sad. The coronation and the monarchy is all for Behind the Stands but I certainly won’t be swearing allegiance to Charlie and his mistress before the game tomorrow, nor will I be singing the ‘national anthem’. I won’t be booing either, for what it’s worth.

  22. Dunno pal, I am a fair few beers in as I suspect you are too. I have always been fairly ambivalent regarding the Royals but today has left me cold. Charlie doesn't have the gravitas of ma'am. The fact his own son is ostracised yet Andrew is still part of this pageant blows my mind.

  25. Stopping peaceful protest because you/we don't agree with their cause is a slippery slope imo. We managed before, why are the police and some so offended by a small protest so triggered now? Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with them but what kind of a country are we becoming where folk can't freely and peacefully give their opinion anymore?

  28. Aye that’s fair enough. But you’re still missing the point pal. Just because you think someone’s a dickhead isn’t a reason to have them arrested. thought you used to work in law enforcement ?

  29. Why the hell would they 😆 ? It's the Coronation and they are voicing their disagreement. Many countries around the world have abolished their monarchies - the movement is hardly a minority group of extremists. They have every right to protest peacefully and it is the job of the British police to facilitate that - not prevent it. I don't know the about the right-wing nobheads you're talking about it, but it seems bonkers that you're trying to compare the two. As I said, I don't share all their views or tactics, but defend their right to make a point about a society they live in. Nobodies day is being spoilt. If you're upset then just compare the numbers of those celebrating with those protesting. That should reassure you. Hope you enjoy they day if you're celebrating 👍 Maybe book a flight to Moscow when the celebrations are over, you'd be happier there x

  33. It’s irrelevant really whether you think they’re narrow minded. Whilst I don’t agree with them either, there are perfectly valid reasons for wanting to peacefully protest today and thinking they’re pricks isn’t reason to shut them down. This is all coming against a wider backdrop of changes to policing where people are being arrested for organising protests. Not great behaviour from the police really. Fair enough if they’ve got evidence that they were planning serious disruption, but we’re seeing police seizing placards. Not a good path to go down.

  34. Each to their own but arresting folk for carrying a placard is ridiculous. It's not like there were thousands of them creating a disturbance. Anyway, this is dull as ditchwater, looking forward to the RAF at 14:30.

  36. Amazing 5 minutes where I went from dejection, passing out after a pile on to sheer pandemonium. probably closest we will get to that winning feel is how if strangely sum it up. Of course we have won stuff and will again but a 3 minute turn around like that may be the most elite of them all. Had a forest mate come to the match and to this day he says it’s the only game he’s glad they’ve ever lost and it was amazing just to be there.

  40. Assuming the choc ice salesman was having a go at me. Wouldn't know. That condescending prick is number one on my ignore list. A lifer. That then brings me to you. As I have been predicting defeat for over a year now (and still am) taking it well is not an issue. It's been a non issue for me for a long time now sonny. A hung parliament or a small majority for the dirty reds then ousted after one term will be enough of a victory for me I assure you. Not for the first time, you are well off the pace. I just hope there are more than two choices on your own ballot paper. I don't want you to suffer a meltdown with difficult binary decisions. Tip - Wigginers vote for the cow wearing the red rosette. Don't fuck it up again.

  43. This may well mean another points deduction for them in 23/4. It must also mean that no footballer in his right mind would want to sign for them this summer. Perhaps my earlier thoughts on here about how the turd will only flush gradually were too pessimistic. I want us to go up. But if we stay down I want us to get these early in the season while weak/fielding kids and give them a proper pasting while pouring merciless scorn on their tinpot support. It would be good to get an occasion like that in to the records before our clubs go in their separate directions in perpetuity

  45. It’s not division its not putin its not sudan its not covid its not the weather its them. It’s Boris, Mogg and the slippery, piss taking charlatans the Tories have allowed to be front and centre of their party for far too long. Its the people who have supported them, just because it “upset the Wokes” despite knowing deep down that they were throwing their weight behind a cabal of narcissists who were closing their doors and pissing themselves laughing at you. Simpering, grovelling, toe-kissing, cap-doffing and hand wringing to the bitter end just because you can’t admit you were wrong. Tough Sheet.
