  1. A lot of right-wing folk are a lot closer to values of Islam than they think.

  2. Yep. The leftist approach to debate. People are rioting despite water canon therefore they don't work. All too familiar. World going through financial problems because of pandemic/war therefore ours are down to leaving the eu. Person has bank account closed, ispo facto criminal. Rinse and repeat on any subject.

  4. Here we go again 😆 must be the fourth time you've brought my job into it.... did you not think I heard you the first time babes? You've been expressing a lot of worries about immigration in your posts lately (nothing wrong with that). Your twitter feed appears to be filled with Britain First posts and Migration Watch. You post it all on here then ask us why we think you're blaming immigrants ?🤣 Not sure why exactly you moved onto separated families with kids and housing. Probably a sign that the discussion has gone a bit downhill now, we've proven the estimates were shite so lets move on and call it a day yeah?

  7. I'd be surprised if he can actually sue a bank who doesn't want his business anymore , surely it's up to them who they do or don't want as a customer

  8. I was about to post the same. With his ability and personality/captaincy, that's a top signing for any championship club, surprised Everton didn't get him especially as they've lost Mina as well.

  9. Working age population is key not overall population. Note the large cohort nearing retirement in figure 2 and the much smaller cohort approaching peak earnings just below them. https://www.ons.gov.uk/employmentandlabourmarket/peoplenotinwork/economicinactivity/articles/populationchangesandeconomicinactivitytrendsuk2019to2026/2023-03-03

  10. 18 more Birminghams in 20 years time. Some cracking sums there from the mathematical whizz kids over at Migration Watch. Nearly as good as their EU predictions. Best get voting for Farage and his Reform Party. “Make Britain Great 🇬🇧” & reform the “the unaccountable civil service and the bloated BBC”. Bolty must be wetting himself with excitement reading that manifesto.

  12. Me & my ilk? You’ve no idea which way I swing on certain issues. You decided all for yourself that I’m a radical leftie who spends his days blocking junctions. so il leave you to it as you clearly struggle when things aren’t black & white. The far right have been rising in Europe for decades. That long old taboo never to vote that way after WW2 is slowly being eroded. There is a feeling of loss of identity that is combined with unregulated immigration. Europe is warming 40% faster than the rest of the world & whilst the news barely reports it, the drought is hitting hard. Housing projects in the south of France have had to be scrapped due to water shortages. I can understand anxieties around unmanaged immigration, identity & resources & it’s fuelling a lot of these extreme parties into the mainstream. It’s not that the left have been too “excessive” that they’ve fallen behind, it’s because they’ve ignored & dismissed the concerns. Goes without saying though that support for the EU is high and is growing. These parties that once spoke of leaving now talk more of reform. They saw our mistake and the war in Ukraine brought the continent closure. Comments like hinting that these riots are because of who France let in are naive to the extreme. Also just ignorant of the reasons there rioting. Many of these teenagers will be second/third generation. Arab immigration was positive for France. If that’s me burying my head in the sand then so be it. Rather that than come across as an Arab hating Gammon.

  16. Brexit benefits. Eventually everyone will stop quoting brexit benefits and realise the world is just a heap of shit no matter which way you vote.

  17. No, not what I, or the professional analysts were expecting. As said above no substitute for world class bowling. While I’ve had some disagreeing debate with @Horwich, one thing I’ve agreed with him on is that the Aussies are the best in the world and they are doing what I expected them to do. No one to touch them on this form. We just have to get better at executing the game plan against the best in the world, which I believe we will, but it will take time.
