I can't remember if I've already posted this because I'm pissed. But just to put things into perspective - we were loaning players form Lincoln a few short years ago. The progress we've made since then is unreal. Never got out of first gear today and didn't really have to. Tougher games to come - but a great start! And Wigan might have done us a favour beating Derby!3 likes

We'll never be ready on the pitch until we actually go up, we aren't building a championship ready squad whilst in league one Off the pitch, we are, if a bit skint, but still not spaffing money away like most of the championship probably are3 likes

I've never come across anyone with such a limited grasp of issues and context have such a high opinion of themselves. It's quite an interesting insight though into some folks thought processes.2 likes

Fair enough. We are long in the tooth to know that BWFC’s situation can flip like the toss of a coin! But these are as good a set of owners that I can remember. When you look for the qualities you want to see in a set of owners; honesty, integrity, ambition and loyalty, then we seem to have that in abundance with Sharon and her team.1 like

As has been said already, without the scoreboard, it was spontaneous. The way it should be.1 like

Were your/his group down at the front middle of NSL? I saw someone with Big Sharps on the back of their shirt. Really glad it got a good reception, I didn't know him but I think he'd have bloody loved that.1 like

New screens and advertising hoardings are due to be in place by the time we play Derby apparently.1 like

Comfortable, that's all that needs to be said, fucking comfortable. We looked a level above Lincoln, and they're not even a bad team at this level.1 like

I'm not a gambling man myself, but my mate who I go to the game with is. He asked me what I thought before the game, I said 3-0, genuinely just because of the replies/humorous replies that you quoted. Anyway, 3-0 up and I ask him "did you put that on?"...yes he says, "how much?".... 2 quid?!?!?!?! What's the fucking point????? 😂😂😂1 like

He's weird that bloke. He cant mention us without some snide comment about our finances. We went into admin, lost 12 points, lost all our players, were relegated and he seems to think we've somehow cheated. Fuck him and fuck Lincoln. 3-0 ya bastards!1 like

How many years is it since Lincoln lost their first game of the season ? "None" do you say ?1 like

It's easy to predict Bolton will be up there come end of season, think we'll also score loads more than last season, longer matches and scoring set pieces more often will see to that. Our new goalie may not have an easier game, though I think there's probably more than half of the teams very similar to Lincoln, who just won't be able to touch us, especially at home.1 like

I'm generally a big supporter of FV but things like: 1. Charging a minimum of £7 per person (regardless of age) for the matchday buses then scheduling them to arrive at the stadium an hour and forty five minutes before kick off 2. Requiring a paid subscription to view standard pre and post match interviews, extended highlights, etc. 3. Charging £28 for an Over 65s ticket for a routine third tier fixture don't sit right with me 💣1 like

Of course mate. We will play every game this season to win, as we always have. I think we could be sitting pretty on 12 points after these 4. But I won’t be panicking that we’ll not make the automatics or have a good season if we win 2 draw 2. Fleetwood are a well drilled side under Scott Brown. Cheltenham away won’t be easy. I just feel like it’s these kind of wild demands that have led to clubs going on manager merry go rounds. When the first person they had in place was the man for the job. In Evatt we trust.1 like

That has to be one of the most utterly pointless Whataboutery tangents I’ve seen him go on. completely irrelevant ‘Do keep up though’ @Cheese 😂1 like

Getting battered every week didn't stop us getting 100% behind the kids and celebrating like we'd just won the cup when they scraped a nil - nil draw with Coventry so for me it's get up whenever the opportunity arises and trust the management and owners to do the best we can with whatever we have available. As long as we're doing our best and constantly trying to improve that's good enough for me and no more than anyone can expect from this wonderful football club.1 like

All very good on motorway driving between cities. Few bids in work getting caught trying to get around Dem & Kernow. @Sweep has a point. Not sure hydrogen will catch up but be interesting to see how many of todays cars can take an upgrade when improved battery technology comes along. Never looked enough to know what happens when your battery won’t take a charge. Hopefully not same as with drills and vacuums.1 like

Really? Off the pitch you are way better prepared than us with capacity to coin in on the “big” games. Anyway, Happy New Season to you all.1 like

Personally I’d never think that yes we’d struggle on the pitch but it’s not impossible to compete plenty of teams have held their own after promotion off the field the set up is championship level and with our support growing the club would only benefit from it1 like

5-0 66/1 It came in twice last season If we're to kick on this season we need at least 3 5-0s this season otherwise we're not progressing1 like

Tomski contacted me this morning and was kind enough to offer the shirt to me, because that's the kind of guy he is. It was more sentimental to me that it would have been to Jnr, if truth be told and their 'heroes' are far more recent, so the shirt is rightfully staying with Tomski, first come first served.1 like

Just to be transparent - I’ve given it the day to see what interest materialised and progressed and will proceed with @tomski, who I’ve been PMing with and was the first one to agree on the proposal. It’s going to a good home (and not on the tip as the other half first suggested!) and raised some money for good causes. 👍1 like
