Whether you agree with his policies or not, the bloke isn't an outsider. His views are without doubt representative of the population. A coal miner for a decade or so, a volunteer with citizens advice bureau, a councilor, an mp, and a volunteer at a help centre providing meals. And a former Labour mp too. He's straight talking, sometimes brutally so, and it's this some folk aren't comfortable with.

On the ref being soft I do sometimes think Santos goes a bit too far with the muscling players off the ball. Eventually a ref is going to give a free kick or even penalty for it.
