Went to Nigeria game and loads of Aussies in crowd supporting Nigeria so they can get to fuck. And hopefully they will on Wednesday.2 likes

No doubt it will come in time. But it was refreshing just hearing young voices commenting on the game with zero prejudice.1 like

The kid is nice and tidy with a good engine. Does he run games? No does he dominate midfield? No, does he create many chances? Not really, does he chip in with his fair share of goals? Nope. City obviously see something in him which is potential at this moment in time. Pearson will no doubt want something different in his midfielder than Evatt does. If they wanted the same or he was giving Evatt what he wanted he’d be in our midfield now. It’s horses for courses. I hope he has a decent career but as long as IE is here it won’t be with us1 like

Lovely to see the 'Efficient Markets Hypothesis' being debated on here. Cheese - surprised that Cheese is taking the Chicago school stance that has become economic orthodoxy since the Thatcher/Reagan years. Zico - now he's more a Warren Buffet man and he knows it only works in text books and there's loads of irrational behaviour out there.1 like

Well is first touch isn’t the same as Sheehan. But if that’s the yard stick you could call most of the team uncomfortable on the ball then .1 like

Not long, if we went in for someone, that person's club has even less time. Makes it less likely that players are available and certainly at a price we are prepared to go to. Such things have been made clear several times- we won't pay beyond what we see fit. Back to the value of a player- we may not cough up the cash, so the player is only worth what he offers his current club.1 like

Sheehan probably does have finer ball control. However if you ask sheehan to withstand physical challenges or make crunching tackles, then compare that to someone bigger and stronger, again the difference will be clear. Room for all types.1 like

If Bristol buy him, he's worth whatever they pay. Simple as that. There is literally no other way you can value a player. We've sold players for more and less than we "think" they're worth, but their value is determined by the transaction.1 like

Of all the years watching Bolton, that must be up there with the most comprehensive away performance ever.1 like

Ain’t the Championship brilliant#? Unbelievable difference in pace to league one. # would have posted paul Whitehouse if less cider imbibed. Great start gents.1 like

What about them? If no one buys them, then, as I said, their worth is only to the parent club. Monetary value is only decided once sold. A free transfer is something entirely different, and is often a thank you to the player by the club, but is still reflective of the fact they're not really wanted any more.1 like

The slow start. He made that quite clear. You don't have to agree with him, I don't, but at least he's consistent in his relative negativity.1 like

I used a VPN and bought this match pass - now I'm on here https://www.bwfc.co.uk/video/live and seems to be working. Wasn't working as I started typing this message though. Hopefully it's a stable stream, as long as I stay on VPN1 like

It's bizarre I don't mind him but of all our players someone might be bid £1m for, he's way down the list He's a bench warmer at best so I'd be amazed if we didn't sell him1 like

Massive today. Chance to make a statement from the off and set the benchmark for similar games. 3-0 win.1 like

Nice. They'd be my second choice after England of course. Quite liked the fairy tale story of the Reggae girls as well. Hope they get more support back home and that you're back out and about soon as well. 👍 So many aspects of the women's game have improved over such a short period of time. The goalkeeping has still been really woeful though. The Swedish keeper has been the best I've seen.1 like

Its a bit like Brexit innit. All ideas that sound great or attainable on paper. Stop the boats, blanket bans, send em all back, control our own borders, Australian points style system, fill the water with sharks, regain our sovereignty, make Britain great again In wanna moonkwalk son...1 like

"Can play" but don't really play is a bit of a problem as far as I'm concerned, at least for such an important position By my reckoning, we have three genuine wing-backs - Randell, JDC, and John And John clearly isn't trusted by Evatt1 like

Yes. It gets them every year. But they’ve increased dramatically over the last few years apparently. Which is probably a climate change issue.1 like
