I think you've got me mixed up with someone else. ... Either that, or you think you're being funny.... That'd be a first too...2 likes

Just copied this off someone else, so I can't vouch for it's accuracy but I am happy to be educated otherwise... Over the next few weeks you will hear a lot about Inheritance Tax here is how much people can save. Rishi Sunak £282m Jacob Rees-Mogg £60m David Cameron £16m Jeremy Hunt £6m James Cleverly £3.5m 96% of people £02 likes

Can’t help but feel this is not the fault of the Tory government and is, more likely than not, Jeremy Corbyn’s doing.2 likes

A real shame It'd have been interesting to see how his career would've played out if we weren't in such dire straits financially1 like

Good, solid, professional away performance tonight. Been a great 'festive' period so far, just one more to go. Quick mention for Dion, 15 goals in half a season, you've got to applaud that. He runs his bollocks off every game harrying defenders, sniffing out chances etc. Yeah, he misses plenty, but what's he got? 35 in the last season and a half? Take a fucking bow, son. Seems to have got better since this baby story became public.1 like

I remember that game where we beat City 1-0 with a late Speed penalty. They didn't lay a glove on us that day.1 like

They always said we had to be sustainable and have never wavered from that. That means exploring additional income streams. I get the issues with ticketing and I'm quite sure they will listen to concerns. Perhaps more folk need to make the point formally; perhaps set up a petition on line for fans to sign. As for things like TV etc- best thing is not to bother with them if you aren't happy about them. Money talks, and a lack of it from the schemes will shout loudly.1 like

I asked my Dad this question and he told me his first away was at Rotherham in 1966 He reckons we've never beaten them away from home since1 like

Thing is....we have scored more goals in 2023 than any year ever in our history. Vic has led the line in plenty of those games. He is nowhere near as bad as some are making out.1 like

Morally, it’s fine. If you are happy to exist within a system that allows you to create vast wealth, then you cannot complain when that same system wants some back at the end. Capitalism eh? Can’t have it all ways I’m afraid.1 like

We provide diminishing and failing services across so many areas and places. Need an NHS dentist, crime investigating, legal representation, reliable public transport, social housing? We're frequently told "there's no blank cheque", "we can't afford it" etc etc yet some folk want to reduce further the income the government get & benefit a few super wealthy folk? Feck that. Close the loopholes and get it enforced and collected.1 like

That was the word used but judging by the subsequent posts it seems it was intended to mean worth relative to the market1 like

Without doubt, he showed some signs of getting a grip of it and becoming a complete player but hasn't kicked on as yet. Lincoln game was a more encouraging one, more of that more consistently needed1 like

Anthony (no idea, or care, on spelling) is a good example of "value". According to 5 Live last Saturday he was valued by Man U's backroom at c.£30m when Solksjaer was manager, but then they were willing to pay £70m+ for him 6 months later. I'd suggest that isn't what he was "worth", but overpaying in desperation. Now I don't think we were desperate when we bought Vic, but no way have we had value for our £500k yet.1 like

Its not bollocks if he believes what hes saying. Hes not worth £500k in my eyes but if our manager thinks he is then its good enough for me. We are 3rd with him in the team and have won more with him in the team than him out of it. So again its good enough for me.1 like

It's only because we're currently in the same division. I'm looking forward to a future when I can consider them as frequently as I consider Salford. Which isn't very often at all!1 like
