Today was shit. We struggled well before we went down to 10. If we concede them first 2 goals without santos then everyone would be saying we don’t concede them with santos there, yet here we are conceding shit goals with him. I just think the whole team is weak minded and the defence was a display of disorganised chaos today. All 4 goals were defensive errors. The referee was poor but I feel it just gives Evatt a stick to bat away criticism with, when he should be standing up and taking the criticism on board as we just bottle the majority of big games.3 likes

She is over there trying to build a niche for herself. She could not give a fuck about anything else. Spouting lies and running down this country, whilst claiming her MPs salary and the extra £115k a year she gets as an ex PM. So I do find it unacceptable that she is claiming £200k per annum to spend her time self promoting in the USA. I would say the same if it was a Labour rep doing the same.2 likes

The Wigan pitch is in an absolute state after tonight's rugby. Not one for playing it round at the back that's for certain1 like

Mr Evatt needs to learn from this today. We are in a good position but we have been poor for a couple of months now. you can say we are the best in the league until you are blue in the face but he’s created a team with a very weak mentality and one that lacks leadership.1 like

We have some proper whoppers that follow us. None of this “they’re at least 50% alright cause they support Bolton”, for some of them it’s just not true, absolutely braindead. It’s only when you do an away day sober that you really clock it. Certainly not saying that I expect everyone to be on their best behaviour but some of the shit that you see just doesn’t make sense to a normal person - and I’m not just talking about the 14 year olds ballooning about.1 like

What's the definition of bottling it? We played our game, yes a couple of defensive errors, but bottling it is probably the performance at Barnsley in the play offs when we were never at the races, slightly disinterested. Today the difference between losing and not losing IMO was the ref, not just the big decisions but the whole flow of the game, and despite him we could have scored a few. Move on and hope we get a fair ref on Tuesday.1 like

If you try and analyse that game sensibly you’ll tie yourself in knots. It says it all when pretty much our best player (Sheehan) was almost the worst player on the pitch - closely followed by our usually stronger right hand side. I’m not usually one for blaming refs because they’re usually just as shit for both sides, but this cunt was 100% a beneficial factor for them. It wasn’t just the big decisions either, someone else has mentioned it but every little niggle from us was given as a free kick whereas they were allowed to play on, it just stopped any momentum. Up until their goal I thought we’d started as well as any game this season. Obviously the goal but we had other chances as well, we looked to be carving them open. Then the big moment that swung it - a soft free kick but then something that we are just so shit at. FUCKING STAND ON IT, stand right next to the fucking ball and block any quick attempt to play it. We are so naive it’s unbelievable and it cost us, let them play it quickly, defence was half asleep and their lad pings one in the top corner because he slipped when he hit it. All so avoidable if you don’t make the stupid tackle (Sheehan) and then when the free kick is given you just have a bit of gamesmanship, like so many others in this league have. Less said about the rest of the game the better. It’s like they woke up and we shrank. They nailed their game plan and didn’t give us any time or space with either wing back, coupled with us just being poor all over the park. Even so, there are 2 point blank chances in the first half that would see us go in level and reset at half time, how we missed both I’ll never know but it just felt like a day where everything would go against us. Positives from a player perspective - CMG, starting to see just how good on the ball he is and Toal for me played well (albeit he was part of defence that conceded 4). Other positives - no damage done from the table perspective (other than Barnsley closing in). In terms of expected points dropped today, I’d say Pompey have dropped 2, Derby 1 and us probably 1 if we were being realistic. The Cambridge win means this game can be forgotten about if we win on Tuesday - we’d all have taken 6 points from those 3 away games. Just need to beat those twats on Tuesday now!1 like

One of your better post… we need to stick together and back the players and manager. It’s war footing from here on in. Starting with the scum on Tuesday.1 like

Evatt lives and dies by the team he puts out each week. This close season he said Firepower cost us last season and he would change that, what did he do re-sign the same forwards. His four biggest signings are Collins700k Ade boyejo 500k Nludlulu 500k and Charles 400k. None started today[yes i get 2 are out injured] We simply are too predictable. Only the fact this is a poor league is the reason we are doing well. We are not going to change the system because he believes in it so i for me i will continually back him and the team. For me i will back him until May and if we dont get promoted the board should look again.1 like

Carry on clapping- again you wasn’t there to witness the pain. referee was the worst since Barry Knight. He give them free kicks for many clean challenges and watching the Santos sending off over again he clearly wins the ball whilst the satsuma comes in on his blind side. But saying that our defence was all over the place and Cogley had a shocker. At the moment on my way back to Worcestershire I can’t see me wanting to drive up Tuesday or next Saturday. Might feel a bit better by Monday.1 like

All the more puzzling after what should have been a confidence boosting win at Cambridge.1 like

Spot on. Frustrating but sadly expected once friday beers wore off. My observations. Constant tinkering where allowed makes no sense. We had chances. Not on IE. Felt we looked dangerous going forward and CMG looks a real addition up top. Sheehan is class but was Blackpools best player in first half. Everything he touched led to a satsuma attack. Should of been whipped at half time. Ref was poor but I’m trying to steer away from blaming officials. Certainly wasn’t why we lost. What was said at HT never needs repeating. We looked useless that first 15. Santos red should be overturned. He wins the ball and importantly he doesn’t see Joseph before he slides. We have to start turning up for the big games. Pizza cup aside which felt like a day off we constantly fail.1 like

no. to a point yes. Is the ref the reason the players bottled it in a derby game again?1 like

agreed this was the worst reffing since Barry Knight !!!! nobody is that incompetent !! he chose who he wanted to win and made it happen !!! you only had to look at a Blackpool player in a strange way and he would give a free kick !! appalling statement on the standard of league one refereeing!!!!1 like

If we played them again tomorrow (with a fair ref), I'd expect us to win, I thought we looked like the better team and created far more. I know we didn't defend well and I'm not ignoring that, but I think we just had a bad day at the office defensively, we are better than that. I was encouraged by how inventive we looked going forward in the 1st hour. On another day we're deservedly leading at H-T, but even at 2-1 down we looked well capable of equalising even with that ref giving them literally everything. That's 6 games now spoiled by relatively early sendings off, for and against, just gets annoying when you want to see a fair game 11 v 11.1 like

Feel your pain, they have a decent home record and to our credit we took the game to them first half, but one or two are running on empty and second half we just didn’t kick on. It wouldn’t have been evatts style to shut up shop and take point given our run against them, it was always shit or bust.can’t legislate for shocking one sided referees, just adds to the cocktail of a nightmare score line.1 like

There's 13 games to go, and we haven't conceded any ground today. We're going to lose some, and so are our rivals. Suck it up, and crack on.1 like

Everything that you could predict to go wrong did. Performance level overall poor, missed chances, dreadful defending and a sending off. too many of the “write this off and go again” Saturdays happening. Yes we’ve been unbeaten for a run of games but those results have papered over a number of things. On the whole we’ve been very poor for weeks1 like

He is clearly trying to play the ball, and indeed gets it. However he also comes through him, so probably a pen. Not a sending off though.1 like

They want to believe it. Unfortunately, it's all the Tories have. In their death throes desperately trying to appeal to rank thickos and bigots. I'd imagine most Tory surpporters can't wait for Lee Anderson and his ilk to do one. They're an embarrassment1 like

Nobody really cares, do they? I suppose that if your mum owns the club and you're now one of the sponsors and the CEO is urging fans to grass others up for misbehaving, then it's inevitable that someone will point out that maybe Mr Brittan shouldn't be attempting to go on the pitch? That aside, let the perma-tanned, turkey-toothed, puffer jacket-wearing buffoon crack on 😉1 like

Looks like a nice weather day today, just a shame the ticket restrictions in place, otherwise we could have easily taken 6k today possibly more, sadly I’ll be watching on the dodgy feed. Those with tickets enjoy the day and help the lads bring back the 3 points.1 like

And if it's Cox you take issue with, do you yourself not have any concerns that MPs and the Speaker of the House are so concerned for the safety of MPs and their staff that he decides to defy convention in order to abate the actions of the mob? The prorogation was challenged in the courts, the Supreme Court ruled it was unlawful and the Government accepted the judgement If it's possible to influence the actions of Parliament - the country's actual legislators - via intimidation as opposed to via the ballot box, I'm not sure what checks and balances exist to stop that1 like
