  5. Looks like Mendez Lang has done his hammy so without both him and Gayle you can see them possibly imploding just as we hopefully welcome our walking wounded back? Today just gets bette and better. 😁

  6. The row over this shirt sums up everything that wrong with shit at the moment. 1 Two versions of the shirt 2 The more expensive version costing £125 for a fucking shirt 3 A pointless design change to the flag 4 People saying it is a lesbian colour scheme 5 Joey Barton 6 People getting annoyed because idiots on Twitter say they should. Similar design changes in previous years never created a ripple It is fucking pathetic all round.

  7. "Maybe naively when I came to this club three years ago, I thought we could get it to a sustainable position, but I realise now that it is near-on impossible, financially, it really is" Which I read as "when I got interviewed for the job I said I would make this club sustainable in three years. I've got my performance review coming up. Best start making some noise about how we're not even in the championship yet. I got pink to do a gig, I can't do it all myself"

  8. "At least 220 people have died in Israeli attacks across the occupied territories, including 48 children. Of the total death toll, 167 were from the West Bank and East Jerusalem and 53 were from the Gaza Strip." This is 2022, a year before Hams reared it's ugly head across the border. Israel's defence secretary resigned, claiming his governments extreme policies were fuelling the fire. Behind those figures you have thousands of displaced innocent families and bulldozed homes. Settlers begin by moving in close by, sometimes in tents before they build their own homes. They divert water suppplies, destroy crops and attack people. They cite ancient religious scripture to justify it all. Eventually the Palestinians are forced away from their land. It is illegal. It's a war crime. And it has been happenning constantly. The current Israeli government actively encourage it. We would all love Hamas to surrender in Gaza. Israel also has the power to create a ceasefire. But that doesn't solve the problem of what Israel are doing in Palestine.

  12. Absolutely. The same radius across GM/Lancs that takes in 19/20 professional (ex), clubs around us, only takes in one or two others for a lot of these clubs we’re comparing ourselves with. Takes the likes of Portsmouth, Ipswich, Norwich, Derby, Middlesborough down a few notches on the ”massive” scale for me. As you say our support in that context stands up very well indeed.

  27. The club need to just put in in the crazy corner. We don't have a kop or any history of having any section like that behind the goal. Not since burnden anyway. You can't just create a new one and expect everyone to just go there. I ain't moving to the north lower even if it becomes the safe standing area. Being behind the goal is for away games.
